i've heard tell of new schematics being a drop item on some mobs at some point in time.. read it on the dev forum somewhere.. was in a list of things that could be up and coming.. so who knows if it will ever even happen.

Lost my structrual module schematics... any one else lossing these?

It was a dissapointment. I need one more wall module to finnish my first Heavy Harvester. I was tem short, because I forgot to plan on enough to make my schematic for the wall modules. Any way I went back to make 10 more and Poof!!!!! No schematics at all for my structrual modules.

I had 3 schematics for structrual modules and they are all missing.... any ideas?

you have to use a specialized crafting tool such as a structure and furniture tool or a droid, weapon, & general crafting tool.

OK here's how it goes:

Let's say you want to build a pair of bone armor leggings

1st you have to use an armor & clothing crafting tool

2nd you have to have the schematic available, ie ENG III (i think)

3rd you need the proper materials

my solution to your problem is that you need the specialized crafting tools. Try that and see if it works.

ok don't know if this question has been posed yet or not, but. Ok slicing 4 is broken, broken beyond compare. I actually got an 11% increase and that really made me look bad. The only reason I can see to have slicing 4 is for molec clamps.

That being said, if I were to make a schematic for say, 1000 molec clamps, then lose slicing 4, would I still be able to use that schematic in my factory? Or would I screw it up even more? I would really only do this till the dev's get off their lasy butts and fix this problem

Yes you can use he schematic. I am not even a smuggler and I make clamps in my factory. I just get a smuggler to make the schematic for me.

I will be posting a web page with the ingredients to pretty much everything later tonight.

But off the top of my head:

Resilience Compound
12 Reactive Gas
12 Radioactive

Infection Amplifier
14 Reactive Gas
14 Aluminum

Dispersal Mechanism
12 Liquid Petro Fuel
12 Inert Petrochemical

Disease also require a bit of Insect Meat, and Poisons require a bit of fungi.

Adv. RC

Tollium Reactive Gas + Class 1 Radioactive

Adv. IA

Eleton Reactive Gas + Titanium Aluminium

Adv. DM

Class 2 Liquid Petrochem Fuel + Yavin Fiberplast

double the amountfrom the basic components to get the # for adv. stuff (+/- 1 or 2)

all dots take aluminum for the casing..

disease uses radioactive as inorganic and insect meat as the organic...

poison uses liquid petro fuel for the inorganic and fungi for the organic

I have only just started in the Droid Engineering skill tree. I chose it because it was a very large part of the Star Wars universe. It depresses me the droids aren't as useful/functional in game as they have been portrayed in the movies/stories. But on to my reason for this post.

I was looking over the schematics for these droids, mostly to get a heads up on which resources I should concentrate my harvesters on, and I have been reading these forums. The fact that DEs require components that can only be made by Master Artisans REALLY bothers me. Those components aren't usable by any other class (for the moment, unless they become required by Vehicle Engineers or the like). Could this have been a goof? Should these schematics have been placed under the DE skill tree instead? I have seen many people say they tried DE without getting MA, and most have said it doesn't work after a while. I will not have the skill points left to get MA, ever. I refuse to lose any of my combat skills, or any of my side skills (most of the Scout tree, but not all) just so I can sit on the game for hours clicking through the crafting of a droid, especially if it isn't useful/functional.

I just thought maybe this could be brought to the devs attention. Move those MA schematics to the DE tree (anywhere would be fine with me), and just so the MAs don't feel like they are getting nerfed, replace them with more viable schematics they can use. I saw a post on the Artisan forums that complained the schematics they get at MA are completely useless. Well, they aren't useless to DEs, so give em to us!

Actually, I've been rethinking this. I realize I may have jumped the gun saying those schematics aren't used by any other profession. I have not had the opportunity, or the patience, to look at EVERY schematic out there for all the professions. But, just in case, what about moving them to Engineering 4? This way they become available to all of the Elite professions that might require them (I seriously doubt a chef or a tailor would ever make use of an electronic module) and Master Artisans will also still have them. Of course, a Master Artisan might like a few replacement schematics as it leaves them with only 2 or 3 that they would acquire.

Just a passing thought....
