We need more abilities to SURPRISE our mark. Most padawans simply RUN when they see a player on their radar.
IMHO, I'll probably be fine with what the CURB will bring combat-wise, but I'd love more methods I could use to catch a Jedi off-guard.

Smugglers,.... what about the smugglers?

I saw this movie once were a bountyhunter named Bobba Fett hunted a guy named Han Solo... a smuggler,.. oh wait,..
I remember ,..it was Star Wars. Yeah,.. Smugglers,.. the one profession were 9 out of 10 times your gonna end up with a price on your head... let the bountyhunters hunt Smugglers.
With all the efforts to "recreate" the Star Wars universe, SOE only lets BH's hunt Jedi,... (NPC's are a given)
Jedi are over rated and must be contained by other means then bountyhunters.
Let the bountyhunters hunt PC smugglers if not other PC's along with Jedi, then we will get the Star Wars feel the game is lacking.

1.Defense
2.1 on 1 Jedi mark ( I am thrilled to see this happen, but still have yet to see the duration,,60sec?,entire fight?
anyways hats off to the devs on this one)
3.Make MBH a requirment to hunt Jedi
4.Let BH's hunt other PC's,..people who get reported,Smuggler PC's. Maybe masterbox in Investigation branch.
5. FD moved to master Smuggler box (edited this after reading thread regarding FD)

*MAKE JEDI HUNTABLE IN SPACE.....tired of being taunted "You can't hunt me!"
*Make BH more deadly. Padawans beating MBH? Really? I think not. Again, Fett fought a Jedi Knight one on one efficiently. No Masters SHOULD be out of our league. But if they are going to make bounty hunting one on one, they could at least not make the BH the laughing stock of the galaxy!
*Give BH a good knockdown skill. Seeing as how Knockdown/dizzy/mind attack is about the only way to defeat a neophyte Padawan they could at least give us storng attacks in that area.
*BH terminals Make a tab for ONLY player bounties and list as many bounties as the page allow. Refreshing 1000 times gets old.
*More bounty types (Smuggler, etc) AND LET US KEEP THEIR LIGHTSABER WHEN WE KILL THEM!

My top complaints/suggestions, not in any kind of order:
1. Easier to use Bounty Hunter terminals.
2. High defense perks when fighting Jedi to actually make it a challenge for them and not a waste of time for us and higher defense in general.
3. Fire KD under the BH Carbines tree should do what it implies, light the target on Fire(maybe remove the KD part since there's Underhandshot)
4. Make carbineer knockdowns knock down more.
5. Increased payouts for player characters and NPCs alike.
6. Better accuracy on all kinds of Jedi, especially for MBHs using carbineer or pistoleer.
7. Some kind of non-Jedi, player character bounty system based on one or some of the following ideas:
-Players who have committed in-game no-no's(Exploits, violation of ToS agreement).
-Players who have been notoriously successful in PvP at the current time.
-Players who have developed in-game story lines where the target would agree to be hunted and the person who wants the person hunted pays the fee(for the RPers).
I know #7 would be kind of tricky since you'd have a lot of morons running around posting bounties on people for BHs to take based on no particular reason, but I think something logical based off of some of the ideas I listed can be came up with. All in all, when it comes to a BH fighting even the lowliest of Padawans, the Padawan usually wins which is stupid.

Forgot to mention.
The visability on all Jedi need to be raised A LOT even for the newbie Padawans who have next to no skills. You should get visibility if you are online or not. Being offline should give you half the amount of visibility you get for being online.
If little newbie Jedi have a problem with this, I say too bad. You chose to go Jedi and you chose the dangers and hardships it goes along with being a Jedi.

- A tab on Bh terminals to seperate jedi and npc missions
- Outside jedi can still heal tef'd jedi.
- The BH carbine and BH pistol tree's need balancing, a bh carbineer gets a kd and a dizzy, while a bh pistoleer gets neither, making it near impossible to stop a running jedi.
- 85% saber block needs a MBH counter, as any jedi over 170k is untouchable, unless unbuffed and/or stupid
- Jedi can still break tef by running into a house, not sure if this is meant to happen.

don't forget about adding a filter on the terminals for Jedi faction. I get so sick and tired of hearing cry babies asking me why I am hunting fellow rebels. And now my guild leader is sending an e-mail across the guild (I know it was meant for me because of a recent kill) saying guild Bh are no longer allowed to hunt rebs. If you do...you're out. Hell, Im almost tempted to quit that guild.
They also need to fixed the 30m range a LS has (as with all other melee proffs) and the uncanny ability to knock down people and block shots whilst they are doing the "fish-flop".

1) PLAYER BOUNTIES (other than Jedi)
2) LLC accuarcy or reclassify the llc as a rifle and let us use our rifle skill mods with the llc (still dont get why we have to learn rifles in the current sytem)
3) Give us some defence say a total of +20 to melee and ranged defence
4) Give me a reason to use carbines, my specials never hit and they're not even worth the effort any more.
5) Move Jedi bounties back to Master (I'm tired of all the players who are just dabbling to hunt jedi killing more than us master Bounty Hunters)

I'm new to the profession but I'd like to put in a couple of suggestions and reinforce some others above...
1) Balance the combat. As stated in several other posts BHs seem very underpowered, especially if we are to be the "anti-Jedi". Anything before Jedi should be able to be taken by a single MBH. Once you start getting the higher level Jedi then I can understand why you'd need more than one BH to start taking Jedi down, especially Jedi Masters, but Padawans... while they shouldn't be walk overs, they should be easier to defeat than currently is.
2)I'd like to reinforce the idea tobe able to hunt other players besides Jedi. I realize that certain rules would have to be in effect as to restrict griefing. Just to toss something out there here are a couple of ideas that could be taken seperatley or all together...
- A person could show up on the boards if they are currently "Special Forces" (formerly "overt"). Say an overt person kills a lesser overt person or short changes a merchant with no combat skills. The lesser person could go to a BH terminal and create a bounty mission on that other overt person for payback. He could then also give instructions to deliver a message, etc... This would not only improve game play for BHs but also give a semblance of realism and justice/vengance for other players as well. Especially in cases where non-combat oriented players get short changed or perhaps scanned and made overt and subsequently killed by player characters. This would greatly increase the role of the BH for not only the BH but for other characters that will come to need their services.
- A checkbox in the player profile could be addedthat gives them the option to become listed on the BH terminals.
- Allow players to assign "grief" points to other characters (one point for one character to another, i.e. the player can only give one point to one other character name but another point to another character so they could have limitless points to give but only one point for each individual to avoidany one persongiving, say,200 points to the same person) then when the grief points hits a certain threshold (example: 150, or an accumulation of 150 individual grief points from 150 separate individuals) they would then become available on the BH boards, perhaps people could also have the ability to donate credits at this point to the overall bounty reward so if the person does hit the boards at the assigned number of grief points they could help determine the payout. Possibly a combination of combat skill of the player for which the bounty has been posted plus the donated amount by the players casting the grief points. This would also have the effect of "policing our own". The grief points would also reset to 0 once the bounty was made and characters could also get their one grief point back to reassign if they wish to that same character for a future bounty.
3) Player Character only BH terminals or a check box to search only Player Characters.
- I get sick of sifting through all of the NPC bounties when we really want to hunt the player characters. This really detracts from the game and is a waste of time, especially since it seems to be that all of the NPC bounties are bugged anyways.
4) An affiliation checkbox and/or tab.
- I'm a Rebel, I do not want to hunt other Rebels, nor do I care to travel across the galaxy to find out my mark is a Rebel and have wasted my time. Perhaps it could even be as simple as a showing only marks that are NOT your affiliation (i.e. neutral or opposing faction).
5) Better firing capabilities.
- Its been mentioned before but worth repeating. Transfering of weapons should have the time reduced or eliminated. A BH in Star Wars is known to have used multiple weapons at multiple times. The skills should reflect that, either reduce the time or do away with it. Perhaps the time could be reduced as skills are gained.
- This suggestion is probably one that should be considered for other professions as well, but we should have the ability to fire from our mounts either vehicle or pet. Especially if you are over water. I can see a loss of skill on the mount but there should be some sort of "cavalry" skill which increases with the skill of the BH. Vehicles (such as the speeder bike) had weapons in the movies, why not in game?
- As related to above, I spent an hour pointing my blaster at a Jedi mark who decided to take our fight to the oceans of Endor. If I'm on my lesser dewback who is doing the swimming for me I should be able to shoot him.

Suggestion for abilties every MBH should have...
- allow us to change our names temporarily while on a hunt. If you tend to be notorious for hunting Jedi,they tend toautomatically be on guard when they see a familiar name(even when they aren't necessarrily the target) or even worse they run.
- Having the ability to hide or temporarily change your faction would help out withinfiltrating groups or guilds.
- BH's should be able to hide on a radar when approaching a target.
- If our droids can track atargets movements, why not let us be able to track a mark to the last place they logged out at?
- Why would a MBH advertise his proffession on his Bio? We hunt other players. Why would wewant tolet them know what our job is?

I have not seen the following brought to peeps attention, but here it goes:
Dev's please help us withthe BH terminals with regard to looking up player bounties. Would you please add a name search or make a seperate full list in alphabetical order etc. So many game playing hours wasted here. Im sure that a lot of BH's out there feel me.
Anyway I personally feel that this would make all BH's gaming experience a more pleasant one,
