One issuethat seemsodd is that you get rewardedin fullfor killing marks without carrying out the client's request to the letter. I still seem to get the bounty even if I don't say "I'm sending you to meet your old Vigo" or whatever. It'd be cool if you could /tell NPCs the message but I guess that's another matter. I guess a /say would be enough if you're in range for combat with the mark.

1. We should be able to use any weapon.


2. We should be able to manipulate equipment or have a special BH place to do it (i.e. armor, weapons, ships).


3. We should be able to hunt anyone... for a price.

Updating my list a bit. New content is marked " * ".


1. Rifle support. I believe Dengar and IG-88 both used rifles. Why is it that I can take Master Pistoleer and continue up the Pistol tree in BH or Master Carbine, even, but there's no extra bonuses for Rifles? I'm currently a Master Rifleman and I routinely snipe all my bounties. Why? Because it makes sense. And it works. I'm surprised that a BH would NOT use a rifle.


*One tree with Rifles/Pistols/Carbines, effectively adding Rifles to the mix and getting rid of the over-learned Pistols and Carbines. Just bring the bonuses down for them to balance having them in one tree.


2. I agree with others about the smuggler bounties. While I haven't hunted Jedis, yet, it would seem to be a lot more exciting if there was at least one more class to hunt.


*Give us a Mission Difficulty boost at Master BH and put Jedi there. Use Inv 3 for this.


3. New armor would be nice... However, I'd just like to see more useful clothing attachments. Bounty hunters do not look alike. They shouldn't. They're not Stormtroopers. They follow a more individualistic path. There should be options that allows for a wide selection of armor or clothing.


4. The "bring them back alive" was a great idea. However, it's hard to do when they can't ride with you. Yes, it doesn't matter if they're with you or not when you finish the mission, because all you have to do is return, yourself. But it kinda loses it's charm when you speed off in your speeder, leaving them behind to go play tag with the terminal. I suggest the "bring them back alive", as well, but with passenger capability in speeders.


5. Make BH a solo profession. Yes, we should rely on docs for buffs, entertainers for buffs, chefs for food, docs for medicine, weaponsmiths for weapons and armorsmiths for armor... But we should be able to hunt solo. I've read that later on I'm going to experience that problem if I am to hunt Jedis. I refuse to hunt in a group of bounty hunters to get MY mark. If I'm not good enough to do it alone than I shouldn't do it.


*Perhaps use the fourth tree (the one that got freed by combining pistols, rifles and carbines) for defense.

#1 distinguish us from other professions in terms of specials being more geared towards PvP. There are a few GREAT PvP templates out there that combine professions, use less skill points and kick our butts.


#2 Make MBH mean more. I.E. added defence vs melee, exclusive armors, player bounties, LLC bonuses, another weapon perhaps.


#3 Other player bounties. There have been a few really good posts on this lately.


#4 Increase to rifle abilities and a special or two somewhere in the tree. Same with scout. This of course will need to be seperate from bonuses granted in Rifleman and Ranger professions.


#5 Fix the many exploits that Jedi can use to avoid combat when they hit the terminals. Sure it takes forever to get a jedi character. But if you show off you pay the price. Most wont even stay for a hit or two.....

I'm fairly new to the game and the BH profession, so forgive me for not being up to speed with the details...


However, having read a number of these entries, I'm a bit concerned about my decision to become a BH.


From a newbie standpoint...there are two major issues...Time Investment and Game Realism


First, Time Investment: Myself and four friends started Galaxies at roughly the same time. I'm the only who chose to go BH. While they scooted up a single line of one of the profession trees to master Tera Kasi, Pistoleer, and Carbineer (My fourth friend is going Ranger, so he at least had to master Scout), I was left to master all of Marksman and a line of Scout. With that complete, I'm now painstakingly working my way up BH and that nasty Investigation column. I keep telling myself, as I jealously watch my friends reach Master in their Elite professions with plenty of skill points left for other Elite professions, is that the developers wouldn't make BH this difficult if the payoff wasn't great. I figured that once I reach Master BH, I'll be unstoppable by all but Jedi. I'm learning quickly from this forum that I'm wrong.


Time investment should equal payoff. That's true of life, so why not here? Yougraduate high-school and become a janitor, you get$30,000 a year. You go to med school and become a doctor, you get $300,000 a year. My friends who scooted up those single line professions should be no match for a Master BH. My one friend who invested thetime to master Scout and eventually master Ranger shouldbe tough, but given that I mastered a portion of Scout, BH should still have aslight edge. Simple math the way I see it. The more columns you fill to reach an Elite profession, the tougher that profession should be. The Tera Kasi master that seems to dominate the particular galaxy I'm in should be no match for a Master BH. A Ranger should be a tougher fight with the edge going to the BH, and a Commando on equal ground. Am I missing the point here?


Second item is Game Realism. In the movies, jedi were dispatched in three ways: opposing jedi, insurmountable odds (an army of Trade Federation droids) and Bounty Hunters. That's the allure of the profession. The dark, mysterious underworld of Bounty Hunting. The BH profession should be as unique and separate from general players as the Jedi, but just as formidable in battle should the occasion arise. If you want to stay in line with the realism of the Star Wars movies, then I agree with those on here that have said that BH should not be able to choose a faction amongst Rebel or Imperial. We go to the highest bidder. If one chooses to take their skills to the Alliance or Empire, they should have their title changed to Assassin and be removed from the BH guild. Boba Fett worked for Darth Vader on a single bounty. He did not have allegiance to the Empire.


In the end, Jango and Boba, the most famous of the Star Wars Bounty Hunters were killed. Jango by a Master Jedi and Boba by a freak accident. Given that to go on, a Master BH should be on equal ground with a Jedi Knight and at a slight disadvantage to a Jedi Master. (Does everyone recall the great fight sequence between Obi Wan and Jango on the station platform?) This goes back to time investment. It should take as much effort to become a Master BH as it does a Jedi Knight (Jedi Master taking even longer) and the rewards should be equal. Both should be able to walk amongst the Star Wars world recognized as formidable adversaries not to be challenged without numbers (four or five Tera Kasi masters) or equal to near-equal training (Jedi, Commando or Ranger). If the Tera Kasi, Pistoleer, and similar Master Elite professions have a problem with being so easily dispatched by a BH or a Jedi, then they should choose a combat-related profession that requires more investment.


Please tell me someone is addressing these issues because I'll gladly turn in my BH Guild cardand become the thousandth Tera Kasi Master on Shadowfire if I'm wasting my time...

1. Duel Wielding= Player can use more then 1 pistol like jango fett has to be Master Bounty Hunter and Master Pistoleer.


2. Enhanced Carbine or EE-3 Enhanced like Boba Fett's only for Bounty Hunters


3. Humanoid and NPC traps and Poison Darts to use in PVP. Maybe Grappling Hooks and Saber Darts .


4. Fix the Specials : Fast Blast a waste of time midest use Fan Shot or Torso Shot. Fire Knock Down definitly add fire to the effect of the knock down of a target. LLC = useless weapon!.


5. Targets should be able to be tracked even if they do go off-line.Give us the ability to get by security doors that keep the jedi safe from us Bounty Hunters . MAKE SMUGGLERS ! Huntable . Whats the thrill of slicing with out a lil chase to stir things up in the underworld heheh . Make Player Buildings no longer safe for Jedi to hide in. Im tired of having my Jedi run into some building and log out.


Jedi should be huntable at Invest 3 ..... Suppose to Encourage and challenge are Bounty Hunters .

1. Serious lack of ranged accuracy. This definately need improvement.
2. Fix the droids already.
3. LLC should be long range. We are a ranged profession, we don't want to be within 20 meters of a melee fighter.
4. Rifle from Master Marksman should either not be a requirement (and thus master marksman becomes optional) or we should get a special rifle at master, or lower version at novice, then upgraded version at master.
5. Make being a Master Bounty Hunter, actually mean something. Increase the payout per mission.

I just started BH novice today and I have not a clue what the hell I'm supposed to do....Iwent to the BH mission terminal got a mission and have no idea what to do next....HELP ME plz...playcone

OK ive been a mbh for ages no real changes for a long time ????

1/i what all mbh to get a full suit of mando armour and jet pack just like the jedi do with there robes and saber
we need the tools of the trade like they have ie; better weapon and gadgets ?

2/ fix all combat and exploits make us more pvp as it is now i cant kill a blacksun spawn????

3/we as mbh have had to do mission over and over for money just to keep up with everyone else give us a pot of money like 10 million credits for the time of being a gimp for so long :

4/make this a fair fight at least we should take down a master jedi make this so ..

5/ money on the terminals should be more credits and give us player bounties if the empire find people who break the law they should go on the terminals regardless of rank or faction.

1) Let us hit stuff again or give us deffence, as of now we have niether.


2) Player Bounties need to be implemented beyond jedi.


3) Make our attacks with the carbine mean some thing or replace them with ones that wont be nerfed in the very next publish.


4) Make bounty hunting worth it. Since matering BH I havn't hunted cause it just isn't profitable I can make more doing other things.


5) Make rifle relavant is some way. Perhapse reclassifying the llc as a rifle so we can implement the bonuses from marksmen.

I THINK A BH THAT SPENDS ALL 250 OF HIS SKILL POINTS ON A RANGED TEMPLATE SUCH AS PISTOLEER/CARBINEER SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTEND WITH A DEF STACKER WHO, WELL STACKS HIS/HER DEFENSES SHOULD HAVE AN EQUAL OPPURTUNITY TO WIN A BATTLE AGINST THEM, INSTEAD OF KNOWING HE/SHE WILL LOSE. HOW TO FIX THIS? WELL MAYBE GIVE US SOME DEFENSE MODS IN OUR CARBINE AND PISTOL TREE INBH AND A BIT MORE SPEED ALTHOUGH WE HAVE A DECENT AMOUNT; ALSO THE MASTERING MARKSMAN...THATS RIDICULOUS, WHY DO WE MASTER IT IF RIFLES ARE NOT IN OUR BH TREE AT LEAST SPARE US THE OTHER SP TO GO UP ANOTHER TREE IN PISTOLS OR CARBINEER OR EVEN NOVICE BRAWLER I WOULDNT MIND THAT HOW ABOUT YOU GUYS...INTIMIDATE AND WARCRY ISNT TOO SHABBY
