1. Fix Light Lightning cannon specials and increase their accuracy and speed mods
2. Make Fastblast do SOMETHING (I.E. Lower saber effectiveness, add a nice state effect or DOT)
3. Fix the pathetic excuse for a DOT called Bleeding Shot (it ticks so low it doesn't make a difference)
4. Add new Bounty Hunter specific weapons (A new Carbine, something good un the Investigation line/At Master Bounty Hunter)
5. Increase offence drasticly, and add a small ammount of Ranged Defence.

1.) Fast Blast needs to be made useful. Either give it a state effect like intimdate or freeze a player or give it more power to one random HAM.
2.) BHs need defense.
3.) Increase payout and difficulty of MBH missions
4.) Add accuracy and speed skill mods to MBH for LLC
5.) Add more player bounties (smugglers, high ranking officals, etc).
Please lets not waste our time asking for bug fixes in our top 5. They should be fixing bugs reguardless of our top 5. We shouldn't have to ask for it. I would rather concentrate on enhancing our profession.

It shouldn't purely be Imperial Bounties either, Rebs should be able to put out bounties on Imperial officers who are a pain, The Jabba thing is good, I've heard of a system allowing Players to post bounties, I think that system would rock.

Personally, I don't think we need more defense - JUST MORE OFFENSE!
1) Make our specials work and do significant damage (all of them). We're supposed to be able to control the state of our opponents in battle (make LLC cone really "cone").
2) Make Master BH really mean something. Maybe another UBER attack or something. Or maybe payouts of 100k+ on each mission.
3) Increase Jedi payouts to at least 100k (heck, they usually win anyway. )
4) Take away the weapon switch timer. This should be done away with in the CB (hoping!) as this will help us some in tactical battles.
5) Refer to 1-4. If these t hings are done, then we will at least be competitive against Jedi.

I've been following this thread for a while reading everyone's suggestions and all, I was just wondering IF any of these changes are put into effect.. when could we expect to see these changes to our profession? After combat revamp I hear... correct?
Also it was mentioned about about Cortosis (sp?). I'm surprised it already isn't a material in the game already. Maybe give BH ability to craft their own cortosis armor at Master.... or at least be able to hunt down the necessary materials (all kinds of possible quests and what not that could come from it) and take to our local armorsmith to assemble our armor. (Which I suppose we'd have to run the risk of the armorsmith running away with our armor.. and no doubt would be exspensive materials.) But eh.. I thought it sounded interesting.
Think BH would be neat if it could be personalized such as the armor.. or maybe be able to tune or alter weapons.. as many BHs in the series were quite good at... and very much relied upon.

Cortosis? I have never heard of that. What is special about that type of armor?
I don't know that smugglers would be too happy if BH started being able to alter weapons. That might hurt their slicing business.

heres what needs to be fixed
1. MAKE CARBINES USEFULL. (THEY DO UTTERLY ZERO DAMAGE TO ANY PLAYER THAT IS BUFFED ARE THEY JUST SUPOSED TO BE A STATE ENDUCING WEAPON IF SO REMOVE BH WEAPONSWITCH DELAY)
2. MORE LLC ACCURACY AND ABILITY TO USE SPECIALS AT GREATER RANGES. (CURRENTLY BH HAS NO PURPOSE UPLOSE WE HAVE ZERO MELE DEFENCE AND WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GET RID OF JEDI?)
3. PLAYER BOUNTIES. FOR INSTANECE A PLAYER KILLS x IMPERIAL STORMTROOPERS OR REBEL TROOPERS THAT PLAYER GETS x VISIBILITY OR MAKE IT SO THAT ANY ONE CAN PUT OUT BOUNTIES... JUST LIKE ONLY 1 NOUNTY ON THAT PERSON EVERY 24 HOURS
4. LOTS OF BH ARE MASTER PISTOLEER ASWELL, FIX THE SPECIALS IN PISTOLEER PISTOLMELEDEFENCE2 WHATS IT FOR? TO PISS US OFF? STOPPING SHOT NOT WORTH THE EFFORT OF EXPLAINING.... I COULD GO ON BUT IM WAISTING TIME AND TRYING TO THINK OF A VIABLE 5TH

BH does need better defense. One thought I had was maybe making it easier to get or make Good BH armor that only a BH can wear. Also, with the defense part maybe making some type of jet pack that when a BH gets into trouble he or she could find a easy way out. Even know this is not a skill mod of defense it would be nice to blast my way out of problems. I'm not talking about making jet packs that a BH could use to travel with. But a action command that when I hit it my char would fly off 100 meters or so from the target that was attacking me. U could even make it so that not only does a player have to be wearing this pack but the high he goes in BH the the long he will fly away. 50meter 100meter etc.. It's just an idea I had on defense.

I really don't care if we get more defense...really. ONLY if our offense increases substantially. We should be the toughest class (offensive attacks) besides Jedi in the galaxy! 
However, we are average when it comes to pvp and decent when it comes to pve.
I KNOW the devs say that our specials will be fixed and combat will be improved for us. I can't wait until that happens.
I'm waiting.
PROPOSAL: MBH = an attack that penetrates saber block......maybe 50% of the time? Would that be fair? Or give us higher damage per regular attack. I don't know....something needs to be done to improve.

Bounty Hunters need more special protections and should have special armor as well as special weapons. Since being a bounty hunter takes so many skill points we should be self sufficiant.

1. Implementation of Stealth(See Kotor)
2.Missions should be targeted around cities. The marks most often (given tha they are not master rangers) should hide in the safety of the cities. Of course that would require the cities to become zoned true cities full of content(see EQ 2).
3.Revamping of the Bh trees.(the carbine tree, the pistol tree and the llc tree should be made one and other trees should be created having in mind what does bountyhunter means. For example the use of stealth and advanced illegal substances as poisons(giving us stunetc not making us cms)and specially modified bracer weapons in order to make us able to damage everything(as far acid fire blast etc goes). It would be good if the final tree would have some kind of Fame system imparting us of some kind of intimidating ability as well as the development of stealth system upgrades and the weapon switch.
4. High offense low defense- please, do. We don't need specific bh weapons-put them o n carbineer or pistoleer or riflemanbut fix our specials.
5.Destroy the bh terminals or leave as long as you create comlink devices useable when equipped which will from everywhere in the planets allow to access the Holonet-bounty missions. We must stay mobile all the time. Think of it a vid-phone. Without mobility we lose precious time without any reason actually. In the MAster Bounty Hunter make the spynets obsolete.

I don't typicaly post much, but here goes.
The top 5 have pretty much been voiced, either higher attack skills/damage rates or some better defenses, more focus on one or 2types of weapons (preferrably a completely different type of weapon other than the pistol, carbine, or LLC. Heavy weapon or not doesn't really matter, but I'd like to be able to do a few specials without having to change weapons 3 times.), some kind of defense against a Jedi attacks, higher bounties on terminals, player bounties, among other things. What I was thinking is a change on another level.
First, do away with the spynet ops and the arakyd probe droids. Institute some "unwilling informants", perhaps in the cantinas. You know, someone connected to the underworld that doesn't wanna talk, but will if persuaded to (by money, conversation, or a blaster), and make that part of the investigation tree, kind of like "persuation" or "insight" would be in a D&D type RPG. That would make it a little more realistic and bring another purpose to NPC city cantinas besides dancing in the front corridors.
Second, since we do specialize in fighting Jedi, I think we should bring back the armor power-ups. My guild leader created another thread in the BH forums about an LS resist power-up for armor, that only BH's could use. Granted we dont' want to get carried away with the protection against the most powerfull (and at one time, most rare) weapon in the game, but I think it would be a good way to keep BH's on par with everyone else, but still a little more effective against Jedi.
Third, I think instituting bounties on smugglers(or another profession)is an excellent idea. I read somewhere about adding an "underworld monitor" or some kind of wanted level, that determines both the amount of the bounty, and the frequency in which it shows up on the terminal. I think that's an excellent idea, and that it would fit nicely with idea #1 stated above.
And fourth, even though it will never, ever, ever, ever happen, bring back the permadeath. Maybe make it 50 or100 deaths, but give the Jedi something to fear. They are, after all, wanted by the Imperial Government, both light and dark Jedi. When the game started, the Jedi were supposed to be extremely rare, extremely strong, and extremely special. Now that there's 1 Jedi to every 5 players (I know, that's extremely exaggerated, but sometimes it seems like it), the "Special"-ness of Jedi has kinda gone. And we can all agree that they're not so rare anymore. BUT, they are still extremely strong.
Anyhoo, it's just a few thoughts from the peanut gallery.

I woul like to add that it sucks you you need investation level three before your seeker droids start giving you waypoints this means BHS have to do 16000 missions before you get to use the seeker droids. My top five issues are
1: Seeker droids are useless till the third level
2: It is hard to find bounty hunter terminals and spynet opertives in the same city
3: Need better weapons to use
4: To find the bounty armor from victims a lot easier
5: Need more skill points
