BH is a ranged profession and impodent vs master saber block. A master level all-weapon attack that temporarily lowers saber block would help solve the problem.

I think most people would prefer saber block just to be toned down. Several people have made points saying that the jedi is able to block too often. It doesn't necessarily have to be nerfed but a lot of people agree that it is too high as is.

I'd prefer a special attack..
Direct nerfs tend to get Jedi's up in arms, but something like this would give a perk to be MBH as well as help even things out without pissing off the jedi.
(and if they DO get pissed off, they will break their "don't troll our boards asking for nerfs" rule)

Well if we're are going to be a weak prof that we are. I think we need easier player bounties, like crafters, especially those obnoxious tailor types, they're just asking for it.

I really think a master level unblockable but high ham cost low damage slow attack that lowers saber block down to say 65% for 20 seconds would help a *lot*
MBH's lack the offensive punch of dabblers but this way at least they would stand a chance.
Right now I am 3040bh mp, and 0040smugg.
I am able to intimidate, stun, and KD a jedi, however if I was mbh I'd only have the skill points to do master pistoleer and just enough points to be novice in another class.

1) Saber Block
Two ideas here...reduce Saber Block vs certain weapons (Scatter Pistol, LLC, EE3, Flamethrower, etc. - any weapon that fires more thanone shot at once or has an area hit radius) or change SB so that it only reduces the damage done by these types of weapons, but never blocks them outright on a successful hit.
2) Increase Jedi Bounties
This one is pretty simple. They don't have to be astonomical, butatleast make it worth the time and money we spend. Make it so once a Jedi mark has been taken down, there is a 1 day delay until they can appear on the teminals again. I'm not saying they get a 'free' day to do what they want without consequence - they just won't appear on the terminals until the next day. It's not a perfect solution but it solves the problem of two-account exploiters and is better than where things are at now.
3) Weapon Switch Delay
Two ideas again...Once a player reaches the forth box(Desperado, Enforcer, Avenger), remove the WSD when switching tothat weapon. Example: If I'm a 4-0-4-2 Bounty Hunter and I have my LLC equiped, I should be able to switch to a pistol with no delay. However, if I want to switch back to the LLC, the delay is in effect because I haven't reached the forth box. Doesn't just have to apply to BHs (ie. Commandos, etc.). Or gradually decrease the WSD as a character gets more skilled with a particular weapon.
4) Make Specials more effective
Torso Shot has a chance toPosture Down, Eyeshot has a chance toDizzy,Sprayshot/Fastblast harder to block, Increase range for LLC specials and give some sort of status effect to the LLC (stun maybe?).
5) Give us some specialized equipment to deal with those stinkin' Jedi
A BH carbine with an area effect likethe scatter pistol(then see #1). The zipcord -no damage, but negates Burst Run and Force Run for a certain amount of time on successful hit. Some sort of armor (that isn't nearly impossible to get) with at least a little bit of Lightsaber resistance.

Me As a bounty hunter Am pretty pleased with the profession i do pretty well on my own and am very happy with this profession, But
1. we do lack a bit of defense
2. being a bit more accurate with the llc is the last
That is basicly all i really dont like but i really do love bounty hunter I don't see what the big problem is I do pretty well in pvp But i dont seem to see what is the big deal about wanting to be nerfed it seems all the professions want to be nerfed to the best they
can be. But if any problems those would be the main ones. And to get good at pvp with bounty hunter is to learn i used to be really bad at pvp
but lately i have been getting better at it.

I have to say the issues most important to a bh at the moment is our inablility to take down our targets, we need some increases in various defenses for pvp, The payouts for jedi missions at current are unacceptable, these will not cover expenses let alone give the ability to make money, the idea of scaling these would probably be a good idea though probably exploitable. On the subject of jedi perhaps a specialist weapon available only at master should become available to bh so we dont have to group to take on anything above padawan. Player bounties in particular should be implemented (The bh should be a feared profession) and as someone suggested above high lvl npc missions might add a little more fun to the profession for ppl who dont like to pvp and add a little extra profit, which after all is what being a bh is about.

1. The mission payouts are unbelievably low, when compared to what other players make from Dant solo groups.
2. The outlaws you kill at the end of the missions are unbelievably easy to kill.

You bet they do. Its a blast. Placing bounties on your friends can be a real hoot. check out this player created system which has been on Naritus for a year now. Still going strong and hailed as the best player created content on the server.

what is see needs to be done is this ( not in any order):
1. bhs need more defence ( alot more ex. melee)
2. tone down saber block for jedi
3. fix the specials and make them more effecitve
4. give bh only use jetpacks and mando armor/bh armor
5. one of this should be issued to a bh, or us bh can craft, and not make it impossdilble to get
6. player bounties besides jedi
7. remove weapon swich delay at mbh lvl
8. add content to bh, say a sperate faction ex hutt vs black sun
9. we should not suck in pvp, we should be in the top 3 instead the bottom
10. incease jedi bounty payout
11. fix llc to be more effectiveor give us a bh flamethrower
