I was going to BH too when i got the BE holocron.

I am on Eclipse as well so if you need some good macros (got a crafting + a DNA sampling one) contact me in game (Arez Olympus)

I dropped BH completely and took up (beside BE) pistols + CH. So i am still able to change from grinding BE to Holocron hunting . While sampling DNAI always have a pet beside me to guard me.

See this FS is bull**edit**. You got people being something they don't wan't to be. I don't want a holocron and could care less about becoming a jedi. I looted one last night and destroyed it cause it is bull**edit**.

anyone grinding out sampling xp, i will buy your samples. bobbin on radiant.

i grind making animals. i've made hardly any tissues at all, mainly because the xp for it is so low compared to clones. 300xp for making a bolma v 100xp for making a stim b.

My advice would be don't start on BE until you've gotten 4 holocrons. (Stick with BH long enough to get 4) Then find a smuggler and buy 5 or 6 crates of muon gold. Find a lair. Take a dose. sample every creature as often as you can till there all dead. Pop the lair. Rinse repeat. Pop the lair again. Rinse Repeat. Set a pet on the lair to destroy it and then sit back waiting for the techni-color yawn. Wait for your mind to return. Rinse and repeat the whole thing. Learn what CL you can sample well at each level. Take missions to help pay for the muon gold, shuttle fair and harvestor payments. Make lots and lots of cheap kaadu and carrion spats. Sell them to people wanting cheap mounts. Alternatly make lots and lots of Blurrgs. Find a MBE who doesn't want to leave their house to sample and sell them the blurrgs.

Seriously: Use dnasample to gather as many samples as you can and make creatures. Once you max dnasample then forget creatures ever existed, find a tailor or chef friend and start cranking out either Micronutrient Supplements if they are a chef or Scent Camouflage if they are a tailor. You get +150% usage xp on tissues, so you need to find someone that will use them (or create an alt and do it that way). Needless to say, this all has to be done by hand and not in a factory. Be aware that your arm may fall off after all this clicking.

Oh, after you create creatures then make sure you sample the deeds to death also.

You will need a massive amount of meat, so start collecting it anywhere you can find it. You'll also need flora, so plop down a couple of medium to large flora harvesters.

It is possible to do this without meat by making Vitality packs, but you'll end up making 4-5 times as many so your arm will fall off.

Go to Dathomir get brackaset missions and go sample them, they take a couple tries sometimes, but they give 300+ exp a pop and they don't DB. If you get aggro let it incap you and just start again when you get up, but be careful you dont get 3 incaps in 10 min. While you wait on mind regen check your inventory and make templates out of your samples to make space. Personally I go in my undies with no insurable items (except one crap craft tool) on me, so I dont lose to much if I get aggro'd by one of the nastier critters. Doing this I got DNA sampling one in about 3 hours.

My suggestion would be to read one of the other threads devoted to this topic. What really irks me about all this is that THERE IS NO FAST WAY TO MASTER BE! It takes work, and effort, and dedication.

It amazes me how someone could go through this entire profession in the span of a few hardcore gamedays, and then just drop it like old sushi. It took me 2 months to master this thing, and there's no way in Hades that I am EVER going to give it up. Good luck to you on your grind (at least you weren't dumb enough to come in here and insult everyone like the last guy, who I think is quite charred from his experience).

Deja vu on the bounty hunter thing, I was 2-3-4-4 bounty hunter before my holocron told me to master BE. In 8 days I am sitting at 2-4-4-3 in be and grinding more. I have sampled on endor/lok/dantooine for great exp, but i think my best hours of sampling were outside mos eisley. There is hardly ever anybody there and i was getting a great respawn rate. Last night i finished off 56k of sampling there in 4 hours--Moun Gold is your friend. The only trouble I ran into there was running low on action pool while sampling, so make sure you make a couple stim a. The only good thing about sampling on harder planets is that you also get to kill stuff that drops alot of meat. If you are hunting meat and sampling at the same time i would recommend pikets and bols on dantooine.

On another note, I made a ton of creatures for experience too, usually kaadus. I gave a bunch to friends to level up ch by training them, the rest I sold because people will easily pay the little money I charged for mount creatures they grow themselves.

ok i nearly finished master BE. for those who need this info u need aprox 60k flora food and 25k meat for each skill tree in crafting. good luck

Stupid holocrons are killing this game. Nobody masters the skill just to keep it... just doing it 'cause a stupid message told you to do so.

I went in search for a power hammer and had to travel (literally) all over thegalaxy just to find a nonsliced hammer. That's rediculous, imo.

The one and only holocron I ever found, I gave away. GAVE, that's right, gave, no one paid me X amount of millions of credits. It was free. That's what I think about that.

Get meat. Two maxed out stacks of 100k each, doesn't matter what quality, you want quantity for the grind.

If you've got a big guild, go hunting kimogila... giant dune kimos (assuming you're not plagued by the skinny creature bug) should give you about 700 meat per harvest... 1 meat per harvest if you're in skinny creature mode (no known cure). BTW would someone explain to me the logic behind a "fat and healthy" chuba giving me 8 meat but a "skinny" creature as big as an x-wing gives only 1 meat?

Armed with 200k meat, get about the same ammount of flora food. Make micronutrient supplaments. It'll be a full time job for a week or two, but you'll max out 3 of the 4 branches in the skill tree. There are a couple really good macros to remove about 70% of the clicking and mousing about involved in the grinding process.

Good luck on DNA harvesting, there is no known way to speed up that one. Harvest every moving thing you can and always keep a nearly empty inventory (to ensure plenty of room for DNA samples).
