The same thing happend to me, First(and so far only)Holocron told me Master Bio-Enginner, luckly my PA has 2 masters and about 2 up and commng BEs, so I got lots of advice and help, and to make a long story short, get TONS of meat and flora, about 4-6 Food and Chemical crafting tools and a cood crafting macro and once you hit novice BEgrind out Micorneutrint Suppliments in practice mode, its long, its boring, and its been 2 weeks and im at 3-2-2-2.

if you gather all of the resources before you start, you can easily grind up to 4/4/0/4 in about a week. then you only have to worry about grinding up DNA and youre done.

What would be your estimation of rescources to gather before starting the grind, like how much?

Hmmm...what were those rough estimates again.....I think it was something like 200k'ish flora and 90k meat. Can probably do the whole process in 10-12 hours of non-stop grinding if you can take it. Then just have to do the dnasampling. There was another item that some folks recommended grinding on that used more resources but had a greater return for xp, can't recall which one it was but someone should be able to throw it out there

the best way I have found to grind.

1. collect a lot of flora and meat, 3 or 4K of each

2.Then get some missions for non violent critters, stuff that spwans a lot is good, Zucca boar are pretty good if you are on tat.

3. got to the mission, mask scent, target critter, select follow, sample DNa, while you are doing this open your item window and start crafting. I can usually get 2 or 3 items crafted before the DNA sample eithor gets it or fails, if fail, simply sample again. If suceed tab to next critter, follow, sample.

If you split up the sampling and crafting you will blow through crafting fairly quickly then take forever with sampling due to the high failure rate and high mind cost. Oh before you start sampling crank up your mnd bar and its secondaries. Each sample will take about 250 mind (before secondaries adjust). I can usually sample 5 or 6 times before I have to rest, so even with a high sucess rate its going to take a long time. You might as well be productive while waiting.

When your invintory starts to fill up with DNA samples, make some templates. you get about 200xp for DNA templates and only 105xp for grinding micronutrient packs. Cloning is about 75xp.

The grind part isnt bad at all, its the dna sampling thats giving me a headache. At the moment im 4-4-1-4. Do you guys recommend tryin to dolots of lantern birds on endor for dna sampling, or go the opposite route and sample a ton of newb creatures? I haven't found a happy medium, it seems that i fail less on newb critters and there's an abundance of them outside newb towns. I fail more than i succeed on the bigger game like a lantern bird but they give about 200 something xp per sample. In your guys opinion what should one run around sampling for the grind through dna sampling?

Finda CHthat is grinding there CH xp and follow them around outside of the city and sample away... I did same thing on my scout xp.

I don't understand how followin a CH around would help with this? Im obviously missing something.. could you please elaborate more on this?
