What you seem to neglect to mention is the Fact that CH actually spend skill points for their Tanks.
ABE uber lvl 10 pet, costs you nothing skill wise but what you pay for it in creds.
And if you would bother to find out about the Dec patch, part ofit was implemented to stop so many Non CH from having very powerfull tanks.
Your argument also about 3 pets being better than 1 doesnt allways work out, as mobs and npc now have a lot higher chance of agroing the person with the pets, and they dont allways save your but before you get Death Blowd or incapd.
In short were seeing a lot of whining from BE who are anoyd because they no longer have a insanly over powerd non CH pets to sell for upwards of 60 - 100 k
Yes standard lvl 10 wild pets suck.
If you dont like it then become a CH and get somthing a bit better.
I dont want to see BE cripled to be certain, but please stop deluding yourselfs about lvl 10 pets.

The day a BEmake a MutantRancor out of Rancor DNA is the day I buy the "We make better than wild pets" argument...heck, even just a plain Rancor from Rancor DNA would be nice :-/
DaBlingBling, perhaps you should now learn how to make a decent CL 35 pet or a decent CL 70 pet. Or perhaps it really would be best for you to leave BE. You are calling players "dumb" who both before and after the hotfix are selling pets for 60k-200k each. I and others are not nearly as affected by this hotfix as you. My CL 35ish pets and CL 70ish pets are still valid, they have the same stats, and they have the same CL.

No, DaBlingBling, YOU CAN'T. Some of us can and are having funand making lots of moneydoing so. If you can't make a pet significantly better than wild ones, then please leave the BE profession and stay off this forum.Our profession doesn't need BEs who can't make a decent pet.
Finally, you say: "I have wasted almost a year of my life in BE now for nothing." It amazes me that people are admitting that they have been a BE for a long time and still can't make a pet significantly better than wild ones. Don't you realize that this makes you look likethe "dumb" one?
Myself and the other two leaders of my guild had a blast tonight running around Dantooine, sampling various creatures (while us Swordsman protected the BE) and seeing what the newly finished Master Bio Engineer could make out of them.
She's made everything from creatures with good HAM and strong disease to ones with dizzy, posture changes, stun, the works.
And now that she's getting the hang of the system, she's turning out creatures that I want. Badly.
As usual, another change made to the game is seen as a "nerf" by all the wannabe uber-babies who can't handle not having a one hit kill button.
The new system makes Bio Engineering interesting and lets them produce pets worth buying. Noone should be seeing that as a *bad* thing.

From my experiance your off on these numbers by alot. Typical pets I have created in the lvl 23 range and wild ones average between 200-280 max damage.

Bull Rancor has 15% Stun, so this one is just 5% higher. Kinetic on Bull Rancor is only 35%, so this one is 14% higher there. Energy is 3% lower, but still 57%. Electricity at 94% is nice, too (Bull is 80%). And this one has Ranged which the Bull Rancor doesn't.It alsohas higher averageDamage than Bull Rancor and slightlybetter To Hit and Attack Speed. It was also a lot of fun to make.

I've yet to run into a BMBQ, but I can probably substitue that for reclusive cavern spider queen (if I can get down there to sample her).

We make great stuff still without abusing a bug. If you don't like it, theres lots of other things you can do. The devs were going to do this no matter what we said, the fact they did it badly should come as no surprise. You got to take advantage of a broken system for several weeks, now they took part of it away with a broken fix.
You were told shown over and over again that the devs didn't want the non-ch's having massive tanking abilities. You chose to attack us for pointing out the obvious - if the combat in the game becomes trivial to every player because of these pets, it ruins the game for everyone except the kiddies who play games in God mode.
Your stupid excuse for pets being used for damage dealing truly shows your ignorance. Sure, you can use your pets to deal that kind of damage... to level 10 newb creatures. But anything with armor drops that damage output to 60%. Anything with armor and kinetic 30 drops that output to 40%. But the weapon classes don't worry, because their guns pierce armor, and they can chose damage types that get around resists. Every CH knows that if they send their pet in against anything with a CL of 40+, which is where most of what passes for interesting content is, they will be waiting a long, long time for whatever it is to drop, and if they have a level 4 novice marksmen skill, they will be outdamaging their 3 pets.

As far as your other banter about BE's being fixed, nerfed, fixed, nerfed.. **edit** are you talking about? They were NEVER fixed. There was a very brief moment where they "worked" somewhat, but that moment has passed. (NOTICE there was NO period after the "but")
The very fact that you're content to playa clas in a game where the BE's are as powerful as the post-nerf DE's is amusing to me. I'm sure several of the DEV's are laughing at you right now as well.
