Thread: An idea...

LOL.. I think you have the right idea.. But I think the solution is to make it impossible to type in /deny or /accept to agree to duels, force people to actually click to refuse a duel, and then make it so that if you don't refuse the challenge within a certain amount of time, you automatically accept.. It could become a whole new proffession.. "AFK Hunters".. I'm pretty sure that is the one proffession I would give up my business for..
Bad idea on renting spots for vendors in non-player cities, but everyone wants to kill the people AFK shouting at the starports.
Mobreen.

I would love this.. not for the fact of making money... infact I would offer my food at cost.
just for the fact that towns like TYRENA, are a ghost town since player cities where started. Before player cities were implemented it was a huge hub, for those who wanted to be apart of a comumity. now with platyer cities and the 1 year accounts expiring i see the player cities dwindling.. Make a reason for people to move back to the town we all miss.
you have any idea how long its been since i ran into someone in a cantina who i never met and just chatted for an hour.
before i could go to tyrean cantina and 3-4 dansers, 10 people watching, and real conversation would take place. I know who was from where (in reality), and would have more fun just chatting than hunting.
I've had tiime where i would login to the cantinas, and spend my entire session sitting.
Getting a little off topic.
Having Merchants in the actual town would be a good attraction, and meetin gplace.

It will be interesting to see what the Devs first thought on the Droid Barking modules is going to look like, they seem to be developing a way to automate this without any player input. I wonder if they had the code sitting around since beta (when they dropped the skill from Ad 4), and just dusted it off when they desparately needed some droid feature to prevent a rebellion.
Perhapsthe barker shouldn't actually bark, but hold up a sign (or wear a sandwich board) with a "Click on me for more info about ..." message. Why fill the chat channel?
