What if you are a pve'er and dont agree to forced pvp? Why dont the Devs give you an option to pvp or pve. What if you get visibility, why cant devs just make it so npc bh'rs come after you, plus put npc jedi on the terms too?

Plus should you wish to engage in pvp, then an option is open to do so considering there are ppl who like it?

That will reduce griefing...

Well just a thought.

Some Creature Handlers have been complaining that they are allergic to fur...so can they have hairless versions of the same thing with the option to buy them wigs if they change their mind?

Basically, Jedi will be a pvp profession forever. That's the way it is and will always be.

Thanks for the reply. Guess that makes sense. I was just curious.

Not a bad idea, but the bh, for one, would complain that thenpc are taking their jobs away. Bh find out that player jedi are now extremely easy compared to jedi npc. I was almost master defender and I was hit over 23k damage by a jedi npc(at was one of the weaker ones, though an instant death), at which I think it's the reason why bh have been completely avoiding jedi npc. BH would just avoid the jedi npc missions all together and hunt players, unless the npc mission were to look exactly the same as a player mission. Having a choice pvp or pve is no longer much of an option anymore, the complaints about jedi being anoutragecontinue and force the Devs to eitherremove us from pvp or make adjustments so that our pvping is limited. Some jedi discriminators want jedi gone and the Devs no it can't be done without destroying the game and changing it's name from Star Wars, so they're trying to find an alternative.

Fine, be a pve'r. Just don't expect to go knight or above. Andremember, you must be ready for BH's when you're on guild hunts. You can still be pve'r once you reach full template (almost no BH's show up once you pass the 200k mark).

I would not have a problem with this but I would add a few more limitations to the PvE side of Jedi in this system.

A PvE Jedi will never ever be able to use a sabre or any offensive force attack on any non-PvE target, they must also be neutral so they cannot participate in raids on PvE GCW bases or attack any faction alligned NPC. No dueling, no declaring SF, nothing. If they want PvE they get PvE nothing else, ever.

May have been suggested before but how about giving players ability to do a contraband search. Only if they're certain rank though like colonel. That way smugglers would then have to smuggle past players to making it a bit more invloved. Then there would be something that detemins who wins the argument like a mini game which would be easier for the smuggler to play as they're stats make the game move slower or something.

by mini game i mean something like stop the dot on the lines and th emost accurate wins. then the players get to keep a certain percentage of what the smuggler is carrying dependant on how much they beat the smuggler by.

Wouldn't it be nice if the weaponsmith could choose to make llower-level weapons with higher damage, only it increases the minimum combat level? I've always thought it was kinda dumb that all the high-level weapons were the same. What if a high level character happens to prefer the look of a striker pistol? Too bad, because if he uses one, he's toast. Also, that means all the people running around in scout/stormtrooper armor could choose the typical weapon of that trooper as well, and not have to give up power. It would be a nice variety change.
