Thread: rude BE's?
My suggestion - make a form email in /notepad. Have the email cover it all - if you make pets or not, if you take custom orders, if you make tissues, or only vendor sales? Put it all in there, and the next time you get a tell and are not in the mood, or it's not a good time to be in tell hell - just ask them to send you an email with their request - copy your form email from notepad, reply to them and paste - most of the time that weeds out those asking for something you don't do, and for those who would like to do business with you , know exactly what kind of information they need to give you, and it's all in an email.

it was too ridiculous to even believe. and i couldn't /addignore because i had to see what he was going to ask next. i just had to. it was too awesomely stupid for me not to.
LOL, I've had a few people like that as well. I guess they just caught me on good days where I was looking more for entertainment rather than to get some certain things done. ![]()
I would agree with many of the posts above. The main issue I believe is how little most people know about the profession. A weaponsmith can know exactly how to make a laser rifle the exact same everytime. A BE is still using some trial and error even if they have been masters for over a year. When a BE doesn't know exactly what will happen when they hit the combine button surely the customer isn't going to have a clue. Crafting pets is definatly one of the most complex crafts in this game and for some if a BE tells them they can make something in 4 hours for them, the customer might consider that rude.
All the BEs I've known on Tempest have been very nice,
Obviously you have not seen the new shipwright profession yet. Makes BE or any other crafting profession look like a walk in the park.
