Survey Droid=give a droid a resource to look for, let him go find it, only report back when it finds a concentration I specify. These could be limited use droids, 5 or 10 uses.

Harvester Droid=I.e. binary load lifters bring me my harvested resources.

Definite /agree with the survey droid and the harvester droid. Make the survey droids like seeker droids if need be. Even if the harvester droid couldn't bring me the resources from the harvester, at least make it so they can monitor the information from the harvester....like a remote access to see the status and the operate harvester tab since those are theoretically things that could be done without actually being at the harvester like maint. and power are (although that would be nice).

Maybe afactory module for a droid. It wouldn't be able to hold much (whatever you could get in the storage module), but would be good for quick, small factory runs for certain components if you're crafting on the go.

Now this is a really useful idea!

Theres nothing more boring and time consuming than having to go to all your harvesters and empty/pay maintenace ect.

It would be cool if the load lifter could also mail you on the condition of the harvester too, so you could say, remotely pay the maintenance and power costs too.

I'd have to say the survey droid... cause well its pretty tedious and just plain sucks.. well for anyone that surveys ore they feel my pain... it goes up like 1 percent at a time.. you chase the vein down for 5k metters to find its a 30 percent area. Plus this would help those that didn't take or don't have survey for the fact of skill points etc. Plus its gotten to the point where no one surveys for cash anymore... ive been trying to find someone to survey for me forever. offered alot of money as well.. no bites.

Could be like the seeker droids. just kinda flies around doing .survey. I wouldn't even be opposed to designating it area to search and it will stop when it finds that place and follows the vein to the highest percent in that area, requiring me to power it again for a second area to specify. I wouldn't evenask for something to say okay i want ore.. search the planet and report back to me all veins. Just something that works while i work on other things.

Binary load lifters should be able to deliver resources and retrieve crates from factories.

I *TOTALLY* agree. It should be able to do this, AND be programed to do maint./power. That'd be soooooo nice, although I doubt it will ever happen

i play on a master chef alt, so i can vouch for a few things

the closest thing to a 'droid' that even comes close to catering is the Robo Bartender droid that merchants can use, which is no fun because it doesnt tie in either profession of DE/Chef, this definitly should be a type of service module for protocol droids atleast, they might have vendor droid modules for a droid engineer to make the droid, then a crafter/novice merchant can use the droid in certain outside areas to sell things and bark out ideas

as to why the item cap is at 10, i have no idea, it should be raised, the highest level modules for DE -say- they can hold 11 or 12 items, but still cap at 10

Can you explain that please? How many droids do you have and how much resources can one hold?
