If there was one thing a Droid could do to eliminate or lessen something monotonous in your day to day SWG activities what would it be? Or any other interesting Droid ideas !

I'm trying to get some good ideas from all professions to bring back to the DE boards and no one knows your professions better than you

Thanks,

Adalis

Track creatures Ofcourse then rangers would complain

This isnt so much a BE specific request but I'd love it if I could have droids to run my factories - I get a lot of requests for uniforms and such and that means doing lots of small factory runs and not being able to go anywhere in between, I'd really love it if I could give the draft schematics to the droid and program him to load in the schematic and resources for me then when the run is done, load in another schematic etc and what would be really great is if I could program another droids to sort clothes into outfits and put them in order bags

A droid that would allow me to remotely monitor and maintain any structures I own.

I like the animal tracking idea. I have several rangers on my list for tracking, but most of the time they would rather be doing other things, regardless of the price I offer.

I think it would be a fair trade to load a previously collected DNA sample into a droid for tracking.

Despite the fact that most rangers cannot be arsed helping us out no matter how much money we wave around, they still wouldnt give us tracking droids :/

While I doubt it will ever happen here is what I would like.

A droid to help with catering or a bartendor type droid. Basically it would have to be a specialized vendor which is why I don't see it happening.

Another options would be a droid that just gives out a piece of food and drink to anyone that asks for one. The chef would load the droid with crates named with the food. Talking to the droid would list each of the different types of crates it has in its hopper. You click on a selection and the droid removed 1 from the crate and gives it to you.

I would like to see you add an actual datapad interface for the droid that works just like my datapad. So when I have 50 or more schematics stored in my droid, I don't have to do an examine on each one until I find the exact one I need. All I have to do is click on it and look at the display on the left to see all the info about the schematic.

Now, if you could add an additional feature to the droid datapad that would inventory all the schematics stored and sort them kinda like the Bazaar does, I would be very greatful. With all the layers, segments, and other useful items, this would make my life easier.

Hmm, you can do both already? Click on the (bah, wont let me type it, says its some html or something, the button is a left arrow, dot, then a right arrow hope thats clear, ) button on the top left of any inventory box to get the detail section on the left. And for the sorting, click change view at the bottom of any box and then the column type you want to sort by.. then you can change it back to icons if you want.. If thats what you meant?

Maybe if I could take an expendable droid similar to the way seekers and probots work... and assign it to a harvester and it will email me when the harvester 1) runs out of power 2) runs out of a resource3) runs out of maintenece.

Basically let me know when it stops operating. They could also work on factories.

I'd like to be able to program my binary load lifer to go to my harvestors, collect my resources, then bring 'em back to me.
