Ok, final decision time - am I going with the ranged question? Yes or no - if no - what would you like me to ask instead?
Remember - we want questions. Not, complaints, comments or requests for new features 'disguised' as questions. They wont get proper answers and we'd be wasting our turn.

Yes, but I would like the possibility of other damage types getting into the game being asked as well. Asking just about the ranged attack type seems too easy.

One other straight-forward question that comes to mind is: what in the hell does the "dependability" attribute do? Does it have any effect in the behavior of the final pet?

Perhaps something like:

"What damage type does ranged inflict (IE kinetic, energy, acid, stun) **and* are there any plans to add other damage types to a creature's normal attack and/or 'special' attack(s)."

There has been a debate about what kind of damage ranged attacks performed by creatured do. Some believe it is kinetic while other acid. BEs able to make different damage types into their animals is a very attractive idea. What damage type is ranged attack and could we see animals in the future that can do different damage types to make both BE/CH more interesting as well as fighting PvE more interesting?

That is the one I put up earlier in the thread. Something along these line would be nice.

The dependability one would be nice too. Maybe our next question?

If we can't get anything else right now, how about this one little bug? I am speaking of the /setperform bug. "You direct your attention to %TT." How hard would it be to go in and replace that obviously hard-coded %TT with an actual code that would print the name of our current target? I mean seriously. Please?

I will ask if we can do something about this when I get in on Monday and report back to you in this thread and follow up with the correspondent.

Is this really the question we asked?

I thought we were going to ask about our role in this game and how the DEVs viewed us and our role

Uhh that was most certainly NOT our question. If your going to read the forum and pick something as our "19 questions" question to reply to please next time pick something good. Like the question we wanted answered.

alright, let me try to explained what happened....

TH didn't really leave a lot of time for this week's 19 question, so folks like me (where this is my week before graduation, and finals week) missed the chance to actually submit a question. when that happens, TH comes to the forum and finds a question and gives an answer, and I have no clue how he picks them. I know that Panthu's slightly busy atm, she probably just missed the chance to post like I did

sorry guys, there's nothing we can do about it right now. If you guys have a short, sweet, and simple question, I can try to find an answer... otherwise, there's always the next round.

edit: btw, let me sticky this for Panthu until she sees it, then she can repost if she wants

Thanks for stickeying Pappi... no, it's not the question I asked... TH took it from the forum himself. *shrug*

He's on vaca and wanted something easier. He said he would answer the real one next time. Sorry guys.

No, I actually got in before some of the other ones that are on there... I just don't think he had the time for such a detailed Q.

On a positive note. He did answer, and on time. Plus, I think we would all like this bug fixed. (Lei can only imagine what TH would have replied if he had responded to some of the other comments in this forum.
