agreed, TKM, or perhaps even fencer (not my style, but people seem to do pretty well with it)

Hello. I'm sure none of you have seen me on these forums before... I just sit back and watch the chat. Anyways. I now feel like i have something to ask. I was thinking of my template and heres what i came up with.
Master Sword
Master Brawler
TKA 4/3/0/4
Fencer 4/2/4/0
Pikeman 0/0/4/0
So far, i think it looks great. the only thing is that im not sure if its overkill. I mean. am i going over and caps? im not sure what they are and how to calculate them. Thanks you all for any help!

Sry but I found another question to ask. If i hit a speed cap with my character, does that mean that i will always be at the fastest possible speed no matter what the weapon speed?

+80 is what ur two handed weapon speed will be and at +95 u will cap out on a 6.4 sec hammer. so id imagine ull be capping on very good speed two handed weapons, maybe 5 seconds and less

Ok, I've been sitting in front of www.swgcb.com for about 30 minutes now just putting together templates I think would fair well in PvP and I've found one that I think I like.
BH 0-3-0-0
Master Carbineer
Swordsman 0-0-3-0
Novice Medic
I'll be lacking a couple of things, defense vs. states and melee/ranged defenses. I'd be capped on Speed and accuracy would be +180. I'd also have high counterattack (is this broken or is it just the things like the two handed counterattack CA/AA's?). What do you guys think?

I think you'd be better off with Pistoleer 0030 over Swordsman 0030.
The secondary benefit is that you'd free up 29 points, as you wouldn't need to pay for the 2-handed Tree in Brawler (or Novice Brawler), so you could take Pistoleer 0040, and have 27 points left to spend.

yes but also mitigation is preventing 40% of the damage i'm taking in PvP, chances of ME successfully kiting = 0 so that mitigation is kind of necessary. That was probably the thing i debated over most, mitigation vs state defenses. Maybe someone can correct me ... if I'm wrong I hope they do, I'm not completely sure myself... I'm gonna be starting PvP for the first time for REAL soon.

Imo picking up swordsman for the mitigation does make sense right now, but i have heard that mitigation is going to be taken out of the game so it will be irrelevant
i would do pistoleer 0-0-4-4 to get some melee def and state def but thats just my opinion.

Advantages:
Speed and Accuracy advantage from BH.
Ability to Hunt Jedi.
Ability to use explosive Droids X 2 with Creature Managment 2.
Disadvantages:
Very little defence and a combat template that is highly dependant on other professions.
