Here are a few basic hunting tips.
1. Get a harvest droid with a rating of over 100.
2. Use veghash (food that gives a harvest bonus)
3. get two missions in the same direction.
4. hit the first lair until it is about 1/4 done. kill/harvest all but one creature. Leave one alive.
5. go to the other lair and do the same.
6. return to the first lair. It will be healed and will have respawned.
7. hit the lair till 1/4. then kill/harvest all creatures. then finish the lair.
8. go back to the second lair and to the same as in step 7.
By using veghash and a droid you will get about 40% or so more meat per kill.
By milking the lair as described you will get about 30% morekills per lair.
And yes, Talus is a pain no matter what you do.

I got this tip from a ranger friend for pulling song rasp missions:
1) Equip a weapon that you are not certified with. Easy for me since I don't have brawler (until recently).
2) Group with a droid (I use my harvester droid).
3) The song rasp missions will be roughly 1200 credits payout.
It may take a little refreshing, but I pull 2 song rasp missions in no time...
As to the killing - they come out in 2-3 waves so dont kill the lair too quickly is all I can say.
Hope that helped.

Since I have been playing since launch, I thought I knew a lot about SWG... but after every publish everything changes, and you are back at 0... maybe not 0 , but you have to re-learn.... thanks for the tip Marrow, I also do this
But I will try leaving 1 creature there, maybe Ill get more spawn !
I prefer to use Vegash than droid... droids are slow, and with Vegash I use around 5-6 units only ... and its much faster indeed
Thanks for the tips, both of you

I am a MBH amd Mpistoleer and Novice Medic. Now I hear some folks swear by the BH, Pistoleer, Smuggler Template and some MBH MCarbineer template but not many swear by the MBH Mpistoleer template. I have been leaning more towards BH PIstoleer and Smuggler template more than a MBH MCarbineer template because of the dizzy and knock down. I am just wondering if:
1. I should stay as I am
2. I should get smuggler pistol tree (if I do thiswould iwant to keep MBH and pistoleer 0044 or Mpistoleer and BH 4040)
3. I should get the two carbineer trees.
What is best option>
Thanks all

Yup 2 MkII Space bomb Launchers, 4 huge guns (Advanced atm I think), big shields, big capacitor, and fast engine.

Two Mark II Space Bomb double salvo fire, best Shield and Armor. I only use it for bomber mission only (corvette run and ISD destroy). It's hard to steer for fighter role. So, weapons isless important. Don't forget to team up with fighter escort. If u like fighter role may be u can use firespray instead.

I need advice on my first tier 3 storm squadron mission. I cannot do it! Once I get ambushed by the a wings at the end (what I think to be the end) is all falls apart. I have asked for helped from masters but it is no use. I cannot dish out all the fighters and my wingman cant save me from all those pesky a wings. Ive tried at least 6 times but i always fail. Anyone have any advice?

OK, first the standard advice...
Use droid programs
Update all of your equipment/visit a Shipwright for better stuff
Get lots of friends to help...
Anyway, I know what a bugger A-wings can be, I am currently flying a Tie-Bomber (yeah, the wet brick of space). Honestly, I go back to jousting. I let them get away from me, since I will never catch up, set my throttle at about 1/4 and use it for turreting. I sit still and blast away as they come to me. Most A-wings, once I zero in on them, don't last more than 2 or 3 passes. I have crafted shields that rock, and strong armor so I can take the pot shots that come at me from the rest. After 3 or so go down, the rest hardly touch me, and I continue to do my thing.
I did try a bomberstrike1 once, just to give them something else to shoot at besides me.
Hope that helps, or at least gets the debate going.

Ive only use the plasmer thrower , the acid stream launcher and the launcher pistol but all of them agro the entire lair when im trying to lure a single critter , are there any weapons that give heavy weapons xp that only hit a single target ?

Hi,
Try and get ahold of the new flamethrower that is not commando spesific, it does a cone attack, not AoE I belive.
Also if you cant hunt in a group, try and lure single creatures from a lair using a pet, often you will get agro only from one animal then.
And a last tip, attacking the creatures called "scout" will normally aggro the entire lair.
