You'll need a new schematic assuming your new GP's have a different serial number.

Thanks that is what i figured i just wanted to be sure. what would the best way to make 2 scematics with the same serial number, or is it just a random determination.

You can't. Your best bet would be to make two runs of GP modules first and use one of each for the schematic (if they don't have to be unique, otherwise you're just out of luck).

I have a question about factories.
I made a bunch of Structure factories - according to the description the Storage Capacity is 2674.
I put some runs of Small Structure Storage Modules in 2 of the factories. Doing runs of 1000.
The factories stopped at 500 Small Structure Storage Mods - the output hopper showed 50/100.
How come the factory stopped at 500 and did not go all the way to 1000?
I had to empty the hopper and add a few more resources to complete the run of 1000.
Bug? Normal? What is the deal?

it happens to me. it stops at 500/1000. you can usually turn it back on and get some more out of it to around maybe 750/1000

you have putt in resources to make 1k of synth cloth.
here is a simple tip. do an examine on you factory, and you can se how much time it uses to make 1 synth cloth. i belive it 120 seconds per cloth.
you can the do it by simple math.
120*1000=hom may seconds
the result you just devide with 60, to get minutes, and again devide it with 60 to get hours.

If you do an /examine on your factory, you can see how long it takes to produce, and how many have been made. For me, it takes about 2 days to make 1k synth panels.

BTW, NJ... is it just me or did they up the time it takes to do factory runs? I seem to remember being able to do 1K in a day before. Am I misremembering?

It depends on the complexity of the item. For fiberplast panels and metal fasteners - whose complexity is low, and they come in crates of 50 - it only takes a day. On the other hand, running BE cloths takes... forever!

Clamps and Knives use the Weapon, Droid, General Item crafting tools/station and thus the Item factory. WUKs also use this same combination. I really don't have a clue about making AUKs but perhaps somebody else will... it imagine it could either be the clothing stuff or the item stuff.
And just in case you're curious, spice uses the Food and Chemical crafting tools/station and the food factory.
