If they worked in equipment factories in the beta they should still do on live. I'd submit a bug report.

This is confirmed by the way. New Schematic, for lvl 1 missles, no go in equipment factories.

Long long ago in a few galaxies not so far away BE's had to make everything by hand because the food/chem factories wouldn't recognize the BE schematics. One day the devs finally got around to fixing the factories, and they would now run BE components. But there was a catch. You had to re-deed and replace your factory before it would recognize BE schematics. This may be the case also with SW schematics, you need to either re-deed or place a new factory to get them recognized (a friend of mine had this same problem he's gonna try that I'll let you all know how it works out)

I would like to use a factory to manufacture crates of Stim B's for my own comsumption. Before I invest in a factory though. I have a few questions.

Do I have to manufacture crates of subcomponents (liquid supensions, effect controllers, etc) separately from the stims?

if so, when I manufacture stim's do I insert these subcomponents into the resource hopper one at a time or can i just dump the whole crate in there?

Do I get any crafting xp for factory runs?

I would like to craft crates of 5 items each. Is there a way I can setup my factory to continue to process crates of 5 items each without stopping? I setup my schematic to create 5 items, and it stopped after the first crate, and my schematic is gone. It's not worth wasting 1 buff pack on every 5 to createa new schematic. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way around this issue? I see people selling crates of 5.

Thanks,

might need more info, but you need to put identical componentsin the factory, this means in crates of the same serial number. So if you want a 5 item crate you need to have, in general terms, 15 BEC (same serial numbers)and 10 CRDM (same serial numbers) and 5 SDS (same serial numbers) along with the same avian (110 units) and same reactive gas (110 units).

Note: some buff packs only will need 10 BEC

In game name: dose. Leaving because of the three strike rule -
Strike 1: extreme nerf cu
Strike 2: newb database management
Strike 3: guinea pig symplex

Easiest way really is to just let it make 50 or however many your schematic is good for and Split 5 off of the crate. That will give you one crate of 45 and one crate of 5. Repeat as many times as needed.

so you can split crates? That is cool, I did not know that. Thanks!

Yes, and it sure is very nifty indeed! You can split into 1-item crates for spiffy decor, for example

Now, it would be cool to add (identical) items to crates as well. But, alas, that we cannot do. Sometimes when I split crates for putting smaller ones on my vendors, accidents happen. Accidently retrieving an item or making the split into an unwanted amount... Well, I am happy we can split!
