What is the best skill tape you guys have seen for dancers and musicians?
I bought a leotard made from the Jabba schematic and it has 4 sockets available.
Just curious.
PS,
I am a buff bot. Out of respect for my fellow players, I will not park my bot in the public cantinas.
Just a word of warning. Skill tapes do NOT stack if the garment already has the skill on it. I have a good friend that dropped a +8 med experiment tape onto his new apron that already had +4. Man was he crying. So if in doubt always ask first, lol, he sure wishes he did.

Wow thanks for the warning as I did not know they would not stack!!
I've seen postings about a +11 skill tape for mind buff enhancement and I think I even saw one for a +25 but I have never personally seen anything above the Jabba schematic leotard. Though I keep looking for a tape of my own....
Naish, thanks for adding the tag that "out of respect for my fellow players, I will not park my bot in public cantinas." I know it's a hot issue but you've been honest, open and willing to talkand I want to applaud you for that effort.

I have a pair of gloves with a +25 mind enhancement.
It doesn't get better than that!

Aylla:
Do you get a 25% increase in your mind buff strength by using those gloves? Or like does it reduce the amount of time that it takes to do the buff?
Thank you

Mind Enhancement skill tapes provide you with an increase in buff power.
No skill tapes can affect your buff duration. (Actually, nothing can increase it.)
No skill tapes can shorten buff time requirements. (Isthe food made with this purpose in mind still buggy? I think it's useless still.)

I get a 25% increase inbuff strength. For those of you that hate math (like myself) if someone has 1000 base mind, the final buff would be 2250. Keep in mind that 25 is the cap for any skill enhancement tapes/armor attachments, so don't waste your money trying to go above. This also applies to enhanced bioclothing.

Ya I have some of this drink, but seems still buggy, but if worked it has a 43% reduction in buff time, but do we really need it though, since it only takes at best 3:20 to buff, I can see it used in old times where it was 8mins to buff.

It was a +7 tape on a +5 apron. I said I was putting it on my med apron and no one said anything until after I did it, then peeps started to say "Oh yea, you can't do that."...god I hate skill tapes

+25 is the max, as others have said. And items with +25 stats do drop, though they are not common. I know of three +25 dancing mind enhancement items on Eclipse -- a tusken robe looted recently so more limited since only male humans can use it, plus two skill tapes (one of which I have and applied to a Grand Twi'lek Headdress). Mind enhancement skill bonuses boost the power of the buff, not the duration, or the time it takes to apply the buff.
Also, as others have said, applying a tape with a skill to a clothing item that already has that skill will not make the two stack together. However, you can apply it to some OTHER clothing item and when you wear both pieces you will get the sum of them as your final bonus. So say you found a +10 dancing mind enhancement tape and placed that in a pair of gloves. Wearing the gloves and the exotic leotard you already have would give you a total bonus of +15, for a 115% increase to the buffee's mind HAM. And while you can wear multiple items that add to more than +25 (I can wear something like +143 atthe sametime), only +25 counts -- the rest is ignored.
And at least as of a couple weeks ago when I did systematic testing of T'ssolok with my Chef friend -- it is still very much bugged and does absolutely nothing. There is a thread in the Chef forum that describes the testing here: T'ssolok ?

You just need enough to hit the cap. Anything over it won't improve your skills.

ok... are skill tapes stackable? I mean if I get9 +2 on unarmed speed seas and place them all over my armor will that add to +18?

Nope, you have to put them in separate pieces of clothing/armor
