Pretty much.

I like how they (TH is not an independant agent) avoid every meaningful question. In addition, the answer to our question was non existant, if not a "so, we don't care" response.

Very disappointed in the responses.

TH can we get a solid set of dates for this "19 questions answered"? You posted last thursday so it's it going to be every thursday or are you on DT? (dev time, a week to them is a month for us)

Every Wednesday OR Thursday depending on how much is entailed in the answers...

Gah it's bad to be grammaticlly wrong....it's worse to be quoted wrong too....

If composite does go to commando and squad leader I guarantee you that all the PvPers on the server will switch to a commando/TKA or commando/rifleman template because nothing else will be viable (SL/Ranger/BH take up too many skillpoints for too little return so I doubt hardly anyone will be using these professions, not when they can get the flamethrower instead and still have enough points left over for an elite combat prof).

I found the answers quite interesting:

"This is one of the details that should be easily tweak-able and happen in the Combat Balance. This certainly is a short answer and Fencers may be looking for more, but for the most part, devs and many players feel that Fencer is a really cool profession and as such, won’t see any dramatic changes."

I hear them saying:

- Giving you a sword with the same stats as a gaffi and using existing art is quite doable in a short period of time. In other words, solving this problem gives lots of bang (making fencers happy) for little buck (reusing artwork and statistics).

- Fencer is working. We'll get dual wielding. Don't expect many other changes.

I don't see these as non answers. If anything, this confirms common wisdom: fencer works. Not only does fencer work, but most likely, we are already aligned to the new combat balance. This makes us the 'benchmark' melee class.

As for the whole combat balance, 19 questions was almost a roadmap to the combat rebalance! Individual questions may not have been answered well, but when you look at all the answers together, you get quite a good picture of what's happening and why it is happening. The reason that we don't have answers is that they will attempt a dynamic combat rebalance -- they will see how the system actually plays, then make changes to balance that out.

Specials. The team will be assessing all the combat specials and working to tweak and balance them so they are fun and useful.

Yes it is truely sad that I as a Master Bounty Hunter need to use Pistoleer Stopping shot rather then Fast Blast and use a Dx2 or FWG5 rather then my Scatter Gun. Not to even bring in the lack of MBH Defense's.

Please fix MBH

TH,

If, you guys make it so that 0/0 clothing is no longer equipable, can we at least get the options of removing skill attachments from sockets? People are spending millions of credits on skill attachments and adding them to armor and clothing sockets, relying on the fact that they will always work, even when the clothing has decayed to 0/0. I believe that the ability to remove valuable skill attatchments would benefit everyone, and also help balance the economy, as people will need less of these attachments, and thusly help balance combat, as non millionairs are able to eventually collect enough tapes to create +25s to the stat of thier choice. As it stands now, the rich players have all the good attachments and are better at combat because of it, or have higher defences.

I would say yes to not equip the item, but as far as removing the SEAs I would say no. I know people pay stupid prices for the SEAs but if they were to make the items unequipable(if that is a word) then I believe that the prices people will pay will be drastically reduced and then the average players will be able to afford them.

I would link to one of the Devs comments to the SEAs being removed but I can't find it.
