Just want you to know that we havent been forgotten and that your answer is coming soon.

I cant say much - confidentiality and all that BUT I just want you all to know that TH is working on his answers, I think they're pretty much done but I'm not sure exactly when they're going out to the public.

Come on Nancy, you can tell us. We won't tell TH
oooh perhaps some promising information on the way ![]()
I'm feeling hopeful again, lets hope we're not faced with the same disappointment as last time ![]()
Hmmm
1) TH is working on the Q19 'answers'...
2) You are requesting experimental data...
I might be illogical about this.. But I would guess TH is gonig to give a response more than an answer.. and part of his response will be for us to help the dev's by providing quantitative data and samples.
I can buy that..
I have a few pieces of data at home and will post them tonight.
Personally I think TH's response is a step in the right direction
Currently trying to get a little more information out of him but ofcourse I dont want to delay him posting the answers any longer.

Np here. I'm glad to help. We just need to know how deep we need to record the data. The coupld of examples I did record have every DNA spec listed for each generation. Tedious.. but I think I have one complete set.. and can do more.
I have made DNA data colelction templates for building my own tool as well as an experimentation template for creature creation.
So I'm not dissappointed at all. As you said.. it's the right direction.

BE crafting is a very complicated process and I dont think my calculator even goes up to the number of different DNA combinations possible.
What I'm asking for is a list of known, repeatable formulas that result in invalid pets so that I can help the developers find the cause of the problem, is that too much to ask?

The request is from me not TH or the devs.

Misunderstood you then. In this case, I'll gladly do what I can to help you out.

I'm not keeping my hopes up. We've gotten piles of bare bones and dust from the developers since our big 'update' last year. (Which as you all know, has been reversed and has left us in the current situation...)
Through several patches, checks and a major overhaul of the entire cloning and crafting system between last year and now.
While not the same as pre-patch, we did have quite a few of the additions the patch made removed. (I remember quite well the plethora of arguments and flame wars that occured here because neither TH nor the Devs would tell us what was or wasn't acceptable in the new system.)
hmmm. Maybe I'm just not remembering the same as you, but the only big change I remember was the CL calculation change that prevented the god like low level pets, and then the validity check.
