Thread: CL 10 Creatures Still too much

BE's should be able to make things better then the wild. PERIOD

I agree with you, they should. But what is the limit? I am seeing CL10 creatures with 10k HAM, 50% resists, and 300 damage. Show me any creature in the wild that has a CL that's even close to 10 with those stats. We're supposed to be doing better then the wild, but not creating super monsters so every non-CH class can have a tank. Although I would love to start seeing a lot more creatures out there to increase my pet stim sales but this would again unbalance the game as much as it did back in the CH dabbler days.

The hardest thing i have found in making pets, is figuring out (still havent) what constitutes a CL 10 pet? i have been trying to sample easy low mobs, but upon experimentation, they go over the CL 10.

Would it be possible for the programers to put in a code that upon opening up the either the Generic DNA Templete, or upon Creature Pet Deed to have the user place in the CL min-max he wants ?

an example would be to make a CL 10 Bantha

1)click on Bantha

2) chose CL range 5-10

3) insert DNA Templete, Creature Food, Flora Food

4) continue as normal operations

I am sure that I have posted on this subject. My suggestion isto have the devs make the BE's a "quicky" CL 10 Template. It would work like this....High CL DNA in a certain category would maxthose attributes right away...no experimenting those stats up. However, a Low CL DNA could possibly be experimented up to max forcertain attributes in a category.

The only thing I would ask the devs to do isleave all other creature levels to the BE's imagination and skill. CL 11 and up is bar none

Yeah but why is my class 6 1-2k HAM creature getting NERFd when some guy showes me his Level 1 with over 11k HAM?

heres a problem i have with this whats too much issue
i made a CL 10 pet for a Non CH friend of mine and she took it and tamed it. well when she did this it said she needed to adjust the pets levels or stats and she choose the stats cause if she would have choosen the levels it would not have been level 10 anymore. the stats were.
3k
3k
2k
damage was 40-50
so she adjusted the stats and made a stupid
1300
1300
1300
damage 40-50
ok my issue here is what the heck??
i am a bio-engineer am i not suppost to be able to make a pet better then what is found in the wild or is that just my belief...
i mean come on we are suppost to be playing with DNA here arent we suppost to be making them better then what a CH can find in the wild?? if not then why even have BE in the game
jeez??

This whole subject is why i dropped BE. I couldnt take it anymore.. if you want to make the best why should you have to force yourself to hold back?

First of all, the nerf was only on creatures made before the patch.

Second, invalidity isn't just based on HAM, or HAM and resists. It's based on a combination of EVERYTHING, tohit, speed, damage, resists, special attacks, ranged attacks, CL, HAM, Armor, and most likely stats. You may have seen a CL10 creature with 10k HAM but a tohit of 0.01, Damage of 1-2, All resists vulnerable, no armor, speed 1.

Ok, so I did some investigating

Theaverage wild CL10 creature:

HAM:700-1100

Damage: 70-100

Resists: None w/ some vulnerabilities

Aggressive: NO

Base ToHit: 0.28

Speed: 2

The Average wild CL15 Creature

HAM: 3000

Damage: 120-180

Resists: 5% with some vulnerabilities or special protections

Aggressive: Both

ToHit: 0.3

Speed: 2

So what you're all saying is that a Bio-Engineered creature that 3 times as powerful as a wild creature is what is meant by "Better then Wild"? I beg to differ, if you're getting 1300 HAM on a CL10 creature I think that's good, anymore more should be invalid.

Ive tried to fight with low level creatures. Anything with a HAM less thank 3k is just useless, except for basic transportation. Maybe if the pets substats where on par with the average player and it wouldhealfaster, otherwise your just pumping your 1300 HAM pet full of stims. If BE's cant make something considerably better, and Im not talking 6k HAM whats the value?

"And this is kinda sickning because, believe me, when they get into the real world (The kids that play that is) they will find that it's impossible to exist without social and economical interaction."

Yeah, but this is a game.

Yeah, but this is a game.

How do you think kids learn social interaction? When I was a kid my friends and I all played games. Games and play are what children use to learn how to be adults.

Ok, explain something to me please. Over CL 10 Pets are ONLY for CH people---who tame their own usually; but in the event they do Want a BE pet for hunting, Just HOW many pets can you sell to CHs? Number one, there aren't that many CHs left anyway, #2 alot of the ones that still play aren't bothering to Master CH now because of the pet nerfs. The only market there truely is out there is the NON-CH combat people. So, if we cannot provide them with decent pets to fight with and CL 10s will eventually, truly, only be 10s, then WHAT market will there be for BEs? I don't have a market now hardly for CL 10 and lowers because most of my creatures are still hardly worth having as I'm not very high in BE yet.

What am I not seeing here for this profession now and in future? Obviously I'm missing something.

I think its kind of silly. I don't hardly see these "awesome" level 10 pets being used in combat. Most keep them as trophies. It may assist in the CH exp grind since they can take a few extra hits but in real combat they just fall quickly. I think nerfing be pets any further is a waste of time. Creature useage in SWG is nearly extinct at this point.
