The class dosen't matter for armorsmiths, just the OQ.

you could make fair foods with those, but in most recipes OQ is the second most important stat (after PE). If you don't have any Greens and want to able to make Thakitillo, those are passable. Once you've been a Chaf a while and have built up a good variety of resources, they probably won't hold as much appeal.

The stats effect the max and starting percentages of your food, determined by some weird calculations.


The max buff percentage (assuming these are the only resources used in the food) would be:



MaxPercent = ( PE * .66 + OQ * .33 ) / 10
( 931 * .66 + 166 * .33 ) / 10 = 66.924


So your experimentation in Nutrition would max out at 66%.


The .66 and .33 are from the food's experimental category details. A similar calculation for Flavor would get you a max percent in that category of 53%.


That's not bad, but it won't be "uber" food either. I try to get to at least 75-80%. For recipes with other resources, the quality of those will also modify the value, but I'll try not to inundate you with too much math.


I use swgcraft.com to see what good stuff is spawning. When you do your search, put in the experimental percentages listed in the schematic for Nutrition (since the majority of the time you're concerned with buff size first), and the results will be rated and ranked automatically for you. Although I did a quick flora search on Intrepid, and it looks like it's not updated as often as my server. Yavin is spawning some excellent Tubers (DR 292, FL 980, PE 882, OQ 999), so if it's just vegetables you need, you might head out there...

I'm still learning the chef profession, and the game in general, but there are some greens that spawned on Itrepidwith the following stats: DR=809, FL=721, PE=931, OQ=166.Howmuch is that low OQ going to affect a finished product? Iknow on most schematics, it seems OQis not as important as the other stats. Basically,my question is; are these going to make a good product?

So what is the order of importance as far as the stats go? And what is a level to stay above of...400, 500? Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I really like chef and want to learn the profession as best I can. Someday I hope to surpass Nolof as THE chef of Intrepid.

Does the same resource ever spawn again? For example if there is a Desh Copper called XYZ, will it spawn again with the same stats or is it a one time thing?

Some of these names are only 3 letters long. If they're randomly generated and the devs haven't coded a system to keep track of what has already been used, they WILL repeat eventually.

i dont think it spawns again thou you will get the same class and type but it will be called somethign different like


*Iron

*Dololvite iron

*kikass


and then next time


*Iron

*Dolovite iron

*sucks


after kikass spawns it likely wont spawn again.at least thats my theory. and it doesnt have any effect on a certain resource, you wont absolutley need kikass again, but you will need the Dolovite iron again...is that clear enough?

Hi all, only just started medic .. atm I'm 2/2/3/4, my question whats the best resources to use to get the max out of stimpack a, b and c's .. bare in mind im using normal componants not advanced. Im using wooly hide and a petrochemical with OQ of 900+ atm, and my stim c's turn out obout H - 230 A -230. Anyway thanks in advance.
