#1) /stick command that sticks a meleer to a kiting ranged opponent. WIth the lag SWG is prone to I can be at 0m, or even 10m in front of my target and still be "Out of Range" this is a serious problem, especially when PvPing in some place like theed or coronet.

#2) More damage types. If a pistol can shoot acid and heat, I would think we could get some stuff other than kinetic, kinetic, and of course, kinetic.

#3) More weapons. I like variety, it is the spice of life after all. So some cool looking weapons with decent stats would be nice. I think you're already working on this with the new kashyyykian pike and sword, kudos!

Thanks for caring Tiggs

The main consern for me is the lack of reasoning.

For example, the cities in SWG should be completely different, zoned perhaps with stores inside the city, missions generated in the city blocks, huge skyscrapers in Coronet for example maybe aerial cabs to move from one section of the city to another (think jedi academy 1). A mark is easier to survive with a)a patron to protect him, a friend or an organization to back him up(so say he should be found with Jabba etc) b) inside cities, inside serious humongous with lots of content cities. Like in the two cities in EQ2 (only referring to another game in the light of both games being SOE).

Also thje lack of reasoning behind quests. I am against Bhs hunting Jedi, I personally would prefer to hunt villains. The justifications for hunting a Jedi are well non existant ( I mean the mission briefing).

Summary: I believe that bhs should hunt inside cities entering bars and asking around if their mark has been seen (npcs perhaps spawned there with the mission) giving a more "true" feeling (the npcs leading to the mark with the rising difficulty are less than giving with your informationa nd often of another faction entirely). Each mark should be unique and the missions should be set apart as government missions and personal bounty missions for the "other" not so lawful bounties.

Thanks.

Hi Tiggs and welcome.

For me it's player bounties. I think this would give a more "Star Warsy" feel to the game for everyone.

When I first started the game, this is how I assumed it would be. I was very disapointed when I found out they hadn't been

implemented.

Also, I think the weapon switch delay should be removed from professions with multiple weapon types.

I believe that the greatest problem of the Brawler Profession, if persued to Master level is its diversity. I know that the various Brawler skill lines are supposed to be the steppingstones for the Elite Professions. Still if you pack all the Brawler skills together and get Master Brawler you realy don't get much of a benefit. Intimidate 2 and the Lunge 2 attacks are nice to be sure, but WarCry 2(and WarCry 1 for that matter) has been useless ever since the big nerfbat went around. Its not so much the Specials I miss at the "Master Box" as the skill mods. Something like a General Melee Accuracy and General Melee Speed or General Melee Toughness skill would be nice.

The 2nd most important thing concerning the Brawler Professions is the "Weapons Problem".

A player doing the Unarmed Fighting skill line obviously has no weapon to help him. The known trick to use an uncerted speed sliced VK still has a fishy reek to it. A small, low damage, non AP weapon like a brass knuckler would probably solve that problem quickly.

I also would love to see some improvements to known weapons. Polearms cetainly need some loveing when it comes to accuracy and HAM cost. How canIMISS a 3m by 3m1,5m high lair of a creature with a 2m long stick? I mean, even if i am blind, deaf, stunned and what not, nobody can miss such a target.

Onehanded needs a SWORD or RAPIER like weapon that offers a good alternative to the Gaderiffi Baton. (I allways hated the stick. A "fencer" should have a weapon that fits in.) Oh, and before i forget it.

The Twohanded skill line needs to get some improvement in the "Axe" department. While these choppers are fairly good looking, noone uses them, because they simply can't keep up with the fancy Twohanded Curved Sword, which is FAR too good for the level the cert is aquired for it. Same goes for the lovely Cleaver. (My personal favorite) Please, please, please make the Cleaver a weapon that stands on equal footing with those Twohanded Curved Swords. The speed is fine as it is (it is a HEAVY Sword after all) but maybe increase the damage/range modsjust a notch so that the Cleaver at least becomes a good alternative to the TCS.

Thanks for your time.

For me personally the number one, "sod everything else", issue with BE has to be the invalid/overpowered/legal/ethical pet thing.

If I make a pet, any pet, it should be 'legal' and valid. If 8K HAM CL9 pets are "invalid"we shouldn't be able to make them - having them become uncallable a week after they have been sold is not the solution.

I shouldn't be worrying whether a CSR will regard the pet I made an exploit or whether it is ethical to make pets for Non-CH's that will hammer anything a CH can tame from the wild of less than CL40. I also shouldn't have to wonder if I should sell a pet to a customer because I'm not sure how they will react if the pet is declared "invalid" down the line.

Yes, there are other issues - but for me this is the major gamebreaker as far as BE is concerned. Everything else can be worked around. At the moment I'm actually nerfing myself because of this issue.

The biggest Problerm is warping of the Mobs..

When Mobs are down to a few percent health they start to flee, and often they warp about 100m or more away ...

Making it so that a ranged BH is not in the minority. There are to many dabblers in the profession that go and get investigation 3 then goon to becomea TKM. I don't blame them since a melee based classhas become the dominent fighting class in the SWG universe. This really detracts from theclass and the game though since when I think ofground combat inSW I think of blasters, not abunch of people running around with swords orperforming martial arts.

my top points (in no particular order) in two catagories, pets and tissues, as both need a bit of tweaking in some ways i feel.

PETS:

1: Pets do not sell very well, simply put that the CH proffession as a whole is not hugely desirable, and that is the only proffession our pets are aimed at other than CL10's which il get to in a sec.

2: CL10's are currently extreamly volatile to play with. Some become invalid for no clear reason, some do not, at the moment ive stopped making CL10's untill they are properly addressed, and due to the limited amount of CH in the game that has limited the amount of pets i actually sell.

3: Creature Colours, some Creature skins do not accept the custom colours given in creation, and will just go with the default setting regardless of any custom colour given.

TISSUES:

1: Desirability, only a few tissues really sell, either due to intensive resource requirements on fairly undersirable tissues. Tailors and Chef's really only buya fewtypes of tissues regularly. at least half the items we can make either do not sell at all, or just extreamly rarely.

Either Tailors/Chef need to be able to make more use of the tissues themselves, the finished items used by the tissues need to be more desirable to the proffessions that would make use of them, or the resource requirement to make the tissues need to be brought down in line with the desirability of them.

2: Secret ingredient, i think with all the recent loot items for crafters this would have(or is still) a good time to implement this. A looted item for tissues and/or creatures also would add a nice feature to the proffession.

3: Tissues vs skill tapes: there is a lot of overlap here and i think the selection of tailor tissues could be greatly expanded to take some emphasis off of the skill tapes, and back into the realm of crafting.

you said pressing issue. so that means something that is an issue now and not an idea right? i would like to see the tag of MBH mean some thing. and as of right now being a MBH means people think i am weak. thats all. nothing long. just make MBH as deadly as a Master fencer or TKM. thx

I've mentioned our DEFENSIVE effectiveness blew goat ass, a long long time ago in another thread.

Weapon switch timer is ridiculous

Carbine HAM specials are outrageous

Pick one: Higher bonuses to ALL BH weapons for to hit/damage; or Quality specials that have a "NO NERFING" policy to them....

Our bigget problem is that our single profession defining attribute is nearly impossible to accomplish because of either combat balance problems with ranged versus jedi or technical problems with the game (such as things like droids not working properly) or incentive (like it costs 37000 credits to prepare to hunt a jedi, and the payoff is only 15k).

there's no real reason or incentive to have any thing in the BH skill trees other than investigation 3 if you want to be a jedi hunter. there's nothing really tangible that a master bounty hunter gets.

further, another profession defining feature is screwy. BH'ers become highly proficient at 3 types of weapon - pistol, carbine, and LLC (see below). each has its function for use in pvp. however, after the weapon switch delay, BH'er are at a serious disadvantage.

finally- the LLC is pretty much a weapon that is only useful for 1) blowing up speederbikes, or 2) hunting animals. the accuracy rate on it, even at master bounty hunter, is terrible - and i think the heavy weapons attachments are still all screwed up in game (another technical problem) so there's no way to improve yourself.

really - there's a ton of things wrong with this profession...and i'm really getting sick of it. it is a really horrible time when you only have a couple hours to sit and play this game, and in the end there's a very slim chance of accomplishing your purpose in the game. i can make more money simply by running missions, or even gathering meats or hides. i can get more pvp ranking points by doing just about anything else. i can get more BH experience by doing regular BH missions in the same time it would take a jedi mission to work properly.

i once went 9 straight days of getting jedi missions that would not work for one reason or another. and i pay for this game...

i don't hunt jedi right now at all. i don't have the time or patience to do it until after the combat rebalance. if the playfield isn't tilted a little more favor of the ranged fighters - or we aren't given some type of advantage over the jedi, i think i'll probably just give my stuff away and cancel my account. i think a lot of people are thinking this right now anyways.
