anyways, this isnt a flame, i understand that we artisans need something OTHER than selling swoops as an income, and that selling resources can be an income, but i would be more enthusiastic about keeping dr's from being able to survey. and remember, one of my alts is a master dr. but their should be more of an economy for surveying. before i had 2 accounts i paid artisans for surveying skills, but do you know how FEW actually want to put the work into it? and im not saying i didnt pay well, but i was rejected for 1mil offers to find an 80-90% resource find, and when i DID find an artisan to find it for me, they sold the site to other people before me so when i got there it was full.
harvester certs? Gawd i hope the devs dont listen to this.

This issue has come up several times since launch. IMO it has come up again for one reason, the SPACE EXPANSION. Everyone will want a ship. Ships will require resouces. Busted ships will require new parts which will require resources.
Maybe instead of asking for something that was shot down in beta, and several times since, you should be asking the devs to make master artisan a prerequisite of the upcoming shipwright profession.

I for one, have almost 8 houses. All on lots of other guild members. I alone have to have this room just to store stuff.
And the harvesters thing, well i already commented on that. I run a Fusion business. I have 30-40 fusions down when some good fusion spawns.
Given the copious other threads regarding harvester certifications and given our poll running on whether or not harvester certification should be an artisan issue, that is, one of the top five, could I direct this conversation toward what should be the other four issues, please?

Well if your going to start a vote for harvester certifications to not be in the top 5 becuase you personally dontt think it should be.
We will have a seperate vote thread for every other issue that gets brought up in this thread on wether we want it in or out right?
Or are you going to blatantly bias and just do as you please and rinsing and repeating until you find something you like then put it up on our issues.
Consider this complaint #2 I am going to put in to make aware that I feel your ill equipped at this job.
1. Harvester certification
2. At Master Artisan lvl increase in survey range
3. At Master Artisan lvl +5 on assembly and experimenation
4. +1 Lot

Concerning the harvester certification and the arguments the prices will go up if certifications would be introduced:
almost daily I receive beg tells for a good resource spot from people who want to make big money with heavy harversters.
If they are crafters they should receive a certification at novice lvl in their elite crafting profession.
Medium Harvesters arent that bad that the economy would be hit hard.
let the Master Artisans, which has been stated a couple of times before, receive the Heavy Harvesters.
No No No No and NO..... as far as raw resorces go ANYONE SHOULD BE able to harvest, with Personals, mediums or heavies REGARDLESS of their Artisian standing.... ![]()

Do you think Clothes are expensive now? Or Armor? Or Weapons or damn near anything???? Just see what happens If this MORONIC game concept goes live, anything that requires a raw resorce, aside from hide and bone will at leastTRIPLE in price at the minium. ![]()

Back when they wanted to limit vendor quanitity I can out against and also said that aCap of 6K on the bazzar would only make the money grubbers sell something for 6K that used to sell for a K...Like Unsliced containers which are hardly rare... And I was right!

Why should he close up shop because some poor artisan needs a break? It is like some hot-dog stand asking the McDonalds on the corner to close up shop because it is too big.
