Thread: Camo Kits
To use a camo kit, use the /conceal command.
There is no radial menu option for using the kit, which is what confuses people.
If you haveanother playerselected, the command will conceal that player.
If you have no one selected, the command will conceal you.
If you have conceal enabled already, using the command will remove the concealment.
I have to hit Ctrl-1 first to select myself and then /conceal or it gives a message you must select a player to conceal.

I'm sorry, but you'll have to forgive me...I'm a new ranger too. Do you have to have a camo kit to use conceal?
Yes, you have to have a Camo kit to use conceal. And like the previous poster stated, just select your target you wish to conceal, ant type /conceal, or use the macro
I have never needed to cntrl-1 to camo myself. Just make sure you have no target selected, by hitting esc, and then apply /conceal.

How many times can a camo kit be used? Are they like clothing and armor and just wear out over time?
You need to use a general carfting tool, andplanet specific resourcesto make camo kits, after which a set amount of kits will be produced in one bundle. Now, if you craft your camo kits in front of a crafting station, and experiment on them, you will yield morekits per bundle per crafting session.
For example, I made some Dantooine Camo Kits without using a crafting station, and yielded about 7 per session. After I stood near a crafting station, I was getting about 14 per crafting session.
Conceal works just like /maskscent, and yes, wears out over time unless you enter combat, or are detected.
Camo works like mast scent except that it's effective against humanoids as well as animals. And going into combat breaks both mask scent and camo. If you have mask scent up and try to camo it will fail (without using a charge of your kit) so you need to bring down mask scent to bring up camo.

What gives domesticated meat on Lok, and how hard is it to find? Lok, Dath and Yavin, are the only camo kits I have not been able to make, mainly since I havent been to Yavin or Dath since we got them. But I like going to Lok.
I would gladly buy them from someone who makes them.
"What gives domesticated meat on Lok, and how hard is it to find?"
It is extremely hard to find...
- In fact, no Ranger on this forum has conclusively located said Meat.

Or you can make it one of your hot keys. Hit Ctrl+A for your actions menu, it will (I believe) be under the "Other" tab as "Conceal".
Or you can target someone, and type /conceal, but I hate typing, lol
