Bowcasters don't suck. Yes, they have low durability, I guess not every weapon can be perfect, and yes they can be repaired. They have **edit** nice damage also.

Question about the bowcasters, Obviously you have to be a wook ti make one, but are they the only race that can actually use them? Not playing a wookie myself, but would love the weapon.

You do not need to be a weapon crafter, you have to be at a personal crafting station. I am a master artisan/droid engineer/tailor and i've made over 15 of them.

knight2580 or anyone else, can you tell us the stats on your bowcaster? I just want to know if it's a decent gun.

I'm an artisan and I also happen to be a wookie. I see the draft schematics for the bowcaster on my datapad, yet I am not able to craft is as I do other weapons. I dont know if anyone has made one of these. If anyone has or knows how please let me know. thanks

By the way, Where can you find the quadanium. I've got every other component except the quad. Is there anything that can increase the durability of the weapon?

OK. There seems to be lots of confusion between post here. Some say you have to be Weaponsmith some say you don't.

Can someone out there who has successfully crafted a Bowcaster please post step by step instructions to creating one?

Why cant everyone thats making bowcasters BE ON MY SERVER!! Chliastra has no high leveled wookiee weaponsmiths on Naboo. I NEED A BOWCASTER.

Any race can use them, but the recieve a penalty when doing so, thus not getting the full effect of the weapon.

Here is the deal. I know this for fact because I can make them. I can get them to come up and everything I just need the part 70 units of Doonium.

You need the following:

Tools:

A house(anysizeso you have a place for the crafting station)

A personal weapons crafter station(the big kind, not the one you use in your inv.)

A portable weapons crafter

Materials:

70 units of Doonium Iron

40 units quadranium steel

15 units metal

3 blaster power-handlers from a factory crate (You must have some one with a factory make these and give you the crate, just as the name implies.)

1 blaster rifle barrel

1 projectile feed mech.

Skills needed:

NONE!!!

IF YOUR ON TARQ AND HAVE DOONIUM LET ME KNOW!!!

Im a wook. how would like to be self sufficient in crafting and selling Bowcasters. I would like to have the skills to find my own materials, all the way through to Crafting the higest quality products.

Can anyone give me suggestions on how to advance him, and what would be some of the requirements needed to do so.
