A couple of them have been created, 2 on eclipse that I can guarantee were made, and word that one has been made on Bria. In order to make one you need a private crafting station.

I saw this question come up before, and the answer beta testers gave was that a bowcaster is a rifle (I've seen this listed as a rifle on a website listing all the weapons, and I sure hope it is, because if not, my wookiee rifleman is going to be very, very upset).

i thought only wookies could make and use bowcasters...

only wookies can use them, not that all of this info hasnt been posted 100's times

Actually anyone can use them, but Wookies use them best, meaning anyone other than Wookie trying to use them recieves a penalty. And yes, it is a rifle.

To make the bowcaster you need a specialized crafting kit (ie, a weapon/droid/general kit), and a private crafting station. If you try at a public station it will not appear. If you glance at the difficulty on the schematic and read the description and requirement you can peice this information together.

Well proud creator and owner of a bowcaster, would you be so kind as to post some specs on it? Damage, Range, Speed, HAM penalties for specials?

i have all the parts i need for the bowcaster im an engineer lvl 3 and a wookie i booted up the wepon terminal nexto a crafting station but i dont see the schematic to build a bowcaster. is there a minimum level you have to get to to be able to build a bowcaster?

you gotta be at least a novice weapon crafter

I'm not sure about what skill levels you need, but you need a personal crafting station such as one you would find in a house. If I may ask, what server are you on?

You dont have to be a Weaponcrafter...

You need to use a SPECIALIZED crafting tool(The weapon/droid/general crafting tool you can make, not the normal General crafting tool), AND be standing next to a personal weapons crafting station(In a house, theres tons of them out there just find a big weaponsmith on your server and goto his house)

I hear Bowcrafters suck though, they have VERY low durability and break very fast and cant be repaired..
