Thread: Vehicle Customization: Should it be for Master Artisans to perform or for anyone and everyone?

For pretty much all the reasons that have been listed.
If you're a Master Artisan you're probably master in another crafting profession and you probably have harvestors too. My point is crafters have a lot to do already and already have a lot of player interaction through custom orders, resource dealing, etc...
This would just add one more thing to have to do and would consume a great deal of time. I think it would work fine to allow players to customize their vehicles, especially since the paint job is not permanent.
Tell me this isnt true-
Current Schematic
12 metal
9 mineral
6 mineral
1 control unit (10 metal, 10 polymer, 5 Low grade Ore, 3 Copper, 3 Inert gas)
1 droid storage compartment (23 metal)
Total resources: 81 (45 metal, 15 mineral, 10 polymer, 5 Low grade Ore, 3 Copper, 3 Inert gas)
Just another master artisian going with option 2.
I will make the kits, but as an architect as well as master artisian I have monetary needs for all my harvesters, and standing around painting cars isn't going to pay the maintenance. Making a factory run of kits and selling them on the market.... that may pay for a harvester or two, and it will give me the time I need to do missions, sample resources, or craft things for people so that I can pay for the rest of them.
Option 2
I don't want the hassle of people constantly bothering me for paint jobs, then have to go through "getting it right". Let us make and sell the kits, let the players tweak their own colors.

(oh I am a MA as well as MWS, those darn power conditioners and control units are just annoying, plus I get to make myself cheap vehicles and it looks like colour them as well but I hope not, I might switch my title to MWS to avoid the tells
)!
Anyone, id never go to a MA to get it done. Much like ID's, in the end i got better things to do.
