avian meat shift just like all resorces. the best stuff i got right now is 900+ to all stats except flavor i payed 10 credit per unit for 2.6k of that stuff and i think i got a good deal.

What the heck creatures drop this? Can't seem to find anything ...

Birds mainly

I'm not sure what planet you're on. On Tat, so far I've only found Dwarf Nunas. Pretty brutal because they're so small and tend to be spread out then. On Naboo there are Kaadu's, Peko Peko's, and various nunas. I can't remember what planets they're on but I think Vynocks and Mynocks also drop avian meat.

I'm sure some of the more experienced scouts here will chime in with a more comprehensive list...

I agree with the birds, but vynocks don't have avian meat (since I last checked a month ago). I know on coreilla the carrion spats and the differnt rasps have avian meat.

I've never hunted for Avian meat before. On what planets do these creatures spawn on and do they spawn in any particular areas on these planets?

I beleive all planets have avian meat.

Currently Tatooine has the highest OQ Avian meat...

I honestly have a subscription to SWG resource center thier adv bestiary is a good way to search out a particular type of meat for each planet. Prior to that I just killed stuff I thought would provide the type of meatI was looking for then noted the type of meat they dropped. Slow ardorous, but a good way to narrow stuff down.

every planet has something that givens avain meat....quality to will be different for different servers.

actually on starsider, unless it shifted in the last couple of days talus has the highest avian meat with 950+ oq and 750+ PE

Usually Avian comes from anything that flies...but just FYI on Talus and Corellia Vynocks drop herbivore meat...Fynocks and Rasps drop avian.

Actually, I think they drop herbivore meat, but I'm not positive about that. Not everything that flies drops avian meat and not everything that drops avian meat flies (or is even a bird, for that matter).

I was just hunting on Rori last night and was killing Vir Vurs (sp?). They look like rabbits, but they drop avian meat.

Best advice I can give is to check with some rangers and see what they can tell you about what drops what on a given planet.
