Hey on starsider the planet talus... what creatures were dropping the avian meat that had the 909OQ 775PE?

I think you can find rasps on Talus. Also, there are fynocks (I think) that drop avian meat there. (I believe there are both fynocks and vynocks and, if memory serves, one drops herb meat while the other drops avian meat).

maybe those mantigue thingies. they fly.

Since this is the board for Rangers alike, and Doctors are in constant need of this meat, I was wondering if there's a semi-comprehensive list of what creatures across the galaxy drop this certain meat.

I'm not the most well-travelled Ranger here, but I'll start you off with what I've gathered from my usual hunting grounds:

Corellia:

Carrion Spats
Giant Carrion Spats (aggressive, deathblows)
Howling Plumed Rasp
Agrilat Rasp
Devil Gulginaw (aggro/deathblow -I've never seen a random spawn, but you can get missions for em)

Naboo:

Various types of Nuna (beware the carnivorous Nuna - aggro/deathblow)
Kaadu
Peko Peko
Giant Peko Peko
Peko Peko Albatross (never seen one, but they're around)

Tattooine:

Diseased Nuna

Talus:

Various species of Rasp (Percussive Rasps are aggro)
Devil Gulginaw (easier to find then on Corellia)

Yavin IV:

Choku (aggro)
Lantern Bird (I think that's what they're called)

This is not necessarily a complete list, just what I can think of off the top of my head.

Lantern Birds on Endor do not give avian meat, it's herbavoire, and I believe whisper birds give the same kind of meat. I'm just trying to save you a trip.

Whisper Birds are definately Avian, I've killedso many when the meats been good I can promise that one!

Can't comment on the lantern birds though...

I think the Lantern Birds are Endor, Yavin is Whisper Birds.

Avian meat is good money, for sure - especially when you find good quality. Someone on Lowca was paying 35cpu for some really good (900+) OQ/PE Avian not so long back. I was selling at 20 and still making a good living for the few days it was around.

If I can think of anything to add to the above post I'll add it here (too tired to think right now...)

Back when I was just starting as a Ranger and didn't know any better, I knew a Doc who loved me because I sold Avian at 7 per.

And Iwondered why she would pay travel costs from just about anywhere in the galaxy to meet me.
