Guys make sure this thread gets some developer attention. The thought of rescue squads and missions.. is just an awesome idea. And even better with the transportation coming. *Smells hazard pay*

As a non-CM and only part-time medic, I think it would be cool if hunting parties (or individuals) could open up their datapads, hit the 'create mission' tab, type in the mission peramters (large group in need meds and healing at these coords), add coordinates, add credit value (must have credits on player and they are 'held' from use until mission is completed or removed, then automatically taken from inventory to give to the medic), and hit 'send'. THen that uploads to mission terminals in the nearest 2-3 med ctrs for Medics and the like. Additionally, since the Medic terminals should be in Med Ctrs, then all characters with at least Novice Medic in that Med Ctr should get a system message that says something like, "Medical Emergency inField, please review Mission Terminal- STAT." When the mission is accepted, it disappears from the other terminals, possibly another sys msg that says,"Medical Emergency Assigned," but probably not on that last part, might get confusing.


That would be sweeeet.


Payout might have issues, though. How does the sys know who gets payed out? If not from the system, Medic might get jipped, or if all the medic has to do is show to the coords or heal one guy, hunters might get jipped. Many possible exploits there, unfortunately. I wish I had more thoughts on that part. Otherwise sound neat.

Does anyone else wish they had one of those stress relief balls but in the likeness of Raph Koster? I would have bought the collectors edition for that.

Eh, the shuttleport should be a pre-requisite for BH mission terms


Missing the shuttle is an integral part of every BH mission.

Okay, the week is almost up and I'll have XP to spend. I am planning on getting Civil Policy 1 with some of that XP. What type of mission terminals will we get? Simple Destroy/Deliver missions or will we be able to place Explorer/Artisan/Entertainer type mission terminals?

You can get all the mission terminal types, except for the factional ones, which come at Martial IV. Not too sure about BH mission terminals, but I'm guessing no.

Don't forget that BH missions require both a mission terminal and a Spynet operative. Not sure where operatives would be classified...a trainer or a terminal? That is, if you can place these to begin with.

Does the operative have to be in the same city as the terminal from which you get the mission? Or is that just a convenience thing?

I assume you can talk to a spynet operative anywhere after accepting a mission from a terminal, so yeah, it's just a convenience thing. Though, I think if you ask any BH they'll tell you they want the two side-by-side. Otherwise it'd just make the Investigation grind *gulp* even longer

I've seen BH terminals on TC in the player cities there so I'd assume that you can place them in the live server cities.

Ok so I mastered the first skill box in my skill tree ti be able to install mission terminals. My question is how do I place them? Do I need to get some from an architect..or is their a command. Also what elvel city do I need?



Ex Doctor, Medic, Mayor, Merchant. Working on Bounty Hunter.

I believe the command is /installmissionterminal

Stand where you want it and face the direction you want the terminal to face and use that command

Good question and I haven't seen it elsewhere..


Does a city need to be a specific rank before it can have mission terminals?
