Even a rank 1 city (outpost) can support 3 mission terminals, however the politician needs the skill to place them which is a rank1 box.
So yesterday was the first day anyone on a live server could have a mission terminal installed.

I've already placed one, but like everyone else says, without a spynet op, its really not worth it.

No there are not as far as I have seen...
But you will get different levels of missions depending on what weapon you have equiped and apprently whether in a group or not...

Couple of questions:
Do jedi who become visible show up on all terminals across the galaxy? Or just the planet they are on?
Do player placed terminals have any known bugs with showing player jedi missions?
How long does a player jedi mission stay on the terminals?
I just found a terminal with 3 jedi mission on, all for someone called "alyson", is that a bug?
thanks in advance for any answers.

1. Every terminal in the galaxy will show a mission for a visible Jedi.
2. None that I have ever heard of or seen.
3. Im not even sure if anyone who isnt a Dev knows. I sure dont.
4. Nope, there is a Jedi named "alyson" on your server.

Well, there are the "data terminal" furniture items that can be placed in houses, but they don't have any real function other than as decoration. Those are in the architect furniture skill branch somewhere.

Can anyone please explain to me what all the deciding factors are in determining the difficulty of a mission on a mission terminal?

Your skill level
Skill with current weapon you have equipped
Group size
Average group skill level

All things Maxumus mentioned, only it can also depends on which planet you are, say, you get a 1k mission on Tatooine, with the same skills, you might easily pull 6-7k missions on Dantooine

Aloha,
a group of friends and I are starting the game, and while we look forward to doing the 'theme parks' we would like to get our feet wet hunting and doing the missions. That was we can figure out how to play while not putting ourselves in to much danger
Now as I understand it, the Mission terminals will give you a mission based on your group size... but does it count the groups level of experience or just the person who is getting the mission?
We start playing next week and I am trying to square away as many details as I can before we begin so that when they ask I will have the answers. Any other advice for a newbie group would be most.

compares the groups total strength to strenght of missions...aka if you hae a master BH and a master commando in your group you'll get missions scaled to both of them, not jsut one...also pets/droids help you get harder missions
