An Idea for squad leader would be to have mission terminals that give them a squard to command for the purpose of doing the mission. so that a lvl 6 mission from the terminal would be a lvl 8 from the regular terminal but the squad leader would get a npc or 2 for him to lead and then the npc would wander off after the mission.

Okay, is it just me, or did the medical profession once again get forgotten? New big patch, some stuff that was broken got fixed, everything that was working got broken, we've been here before, nothing new. However, I noted that there are now mission terminals for every base class. Except us. Marksmen and Brawlers can destroy as always. Artisans can craft, Scouts can explore, Entertainers can dance and play, and Medics can...beg for tips as before. Is it just me, or did we get screwed in this deal? I mean really, how hard would it have been to set up MedMission terminals alongside everything else?
*sighs*
At least Combat Medic is worth playing temporarily.

i think the reason for this one is simply the nature of our profession, what do you expect? there to be some random npc you have to go heal damage or something. if you had to go heal wounds i guess that would make a little sense, but still that is pushing it on practicality and people actually doing it. i for one dont even heal wounds any more, there are much better, easier, and faster ways.

Umm... yah. What do you think the entertainment missions do? I think there could be some decent mission storylines. Rescue missions for example, or heading out into the middle of nowhere to help administer aid to small town.

It's certainly not far off from the new mission terminals.

yeah. having a combat medic go rescue an injured character beleaguered by baddies in the wilderness sounds like a perfect roleplay mission to me. and holy crap it might be fun and designed for the class? whoda thunk it

Yeah, although there's usually no shortage of wounded players hanging out in the various med centers, sometimes it does get slow. Medical missionswould be nice to have during those lulls, or to add a role-playing element to the grinding. It might be cool to get sent out to find a downed NPC, and have to actually use "/dragIncapacitatedPlayer" to get him to safety. Or maybea med crafting mission to make/deliver vital supplies to some remote location. I'm all for it.

Now that's not a half bad idea! What if users could actually participate in creating the medic missions? What if they are in the middle of nowhere with a big hunting group and needed some serious help after or during a battle...there are many different scenarios there. They submit a request and it ends up being a mission for the Medic class! Interesting.

As an aspiring CM, these sound like great ideas. I don't see why any of this isn't possible. This what I was hoping to see. There's nothing wrong with the Red Cross coming to the rescue.

This will be doubly cool once vehicles are implemented and us healer types can swoop inwith our tricked out patrol/ambulance speeders, lay down some cover fire, make an appropriate field diagnosis, and effect a medevac to the nearest hospital. Oops ... sorry, did I start to drool?

yeah. there DEFINITELY needs to be a med crafting mission. grinding is freaking BORING. i'd rather spend my time searching out some materials and then assembling them for a large crafting payoff than grinding. the devs could make it so that the time spent running the mission would yeild an exp reward similar to that you would get from a period of grinding. i'd be ALL for that. make the crap interesting instead of giving me *ucking carpel tunnel

I would have so much fun doing this. Having to aid a combat unit (reb or imp) Theydo have a mission like this in the hidden base quests on Corellia. You are given medicineto deliver to a single soldier. Only youare unableheal him, and there are no enemy forces near by.

I was excited when i recieved this mission from C3po, but it wasn't what it could of been. Actual medic missions would be fun, not only with a story arc, but as a way to make some xp while the galaxy is sparce with other players who need our help.

The entertainers are tired of standing at the same bar, so now they have the ability to travel to other places and play for npc's. And the artisans have a customer for the cdef rifle that no one wants to buy anymore.

I do hope that on the next big patch, they put some healing mission terminals as well as story driven npc missions. It would only add to the experience of SWG.
