Too bad you read it upside down. You're such a freaking whiner. You are what's wrong with the game even more than the devs.

so really why did you vote yes besides the desire to own the market place with a select few individuals who choose master artisan. if this cert went live. then all that beautifull resources would become a dominant market owned by a few people on each server. The prices are already whacked as it is. but with the current free trade free market system in regards to resources, the economical costs are remaining stabilized. What you want is literally mafia control. control of the resources is gonna shut down many newer and competitive crafters providing products at a little less quality then the "old salts" (shall i say that doomed crafting patch) who own lots of killer materials but at appropriate prices to match. not everyone on our server can own the premium 2 million credit armor crafted by the ultimate resources. but they can own some 500k armor or lower armor at a fair price and still participate in pve, group hunts, pvp and life in the game as we know it. the crafting community as a whole could possibly be shut down by this proposal for syndication

superbike,
How would the crafting community be "shut down?" Folks would just have to pay attention to the resource spawns. And it won't be as hard to get good resource spots with only certified people placing harvesters. Just using one set of lots, I can easily get 400k of resources from a good spawn by myself. And that's not even using too many medium harvesters...mostly BER 4 personals.
So...I don't get it. Why won't people have enough resources? Most of what's dug up now is grinding quality and will become worthless after the jedi revamp. Well...almost worthless. After that, there will probably be intense competition for good spawn sites. That's of course as it should be. Except I don't think crafters should have to compete with TKM/Master Commandos for the spawn spots. I really don't think that's asking too much.
my posts have not said that the market currently flooded with low-end metals and ore are useless, only that much of the current market is driven by hologrinders.
with the jedi revamp, demand will go down on this type of material and so many of the noncrafters who are making money harvesting and selling may find themselves without buyers. most of them are not paying any attention to the stats on the resources they sell, only the percentage of the spot they place harvesters on. the supposed resource glut may solve itself, simply because of the laws of supply and demand. we cannot necessarily predict the outcome or what the state of the market will be in 3 months as player professions shift once again, but if harvester certifications are put in place now, we are essentially nerfing the system, at a time when it may change rather dramatically.
personal harvesters are simply not sufficient for many supposed noncrafters to keep up with their product orders..my smuggler is hard pressed to keep molecular clamps around even with heavies sitting on metal much of the time. Thus i am opposed to harvester certifications because of its bias against "part-time" crafters who to keep their templates cannot put precious skill points into the artisan tree.
selling wp's to good spots is also a good money maker for artisans and so in a small way, it nerfs them as well. and these are the people who are best equipped to find those rare resources that command the best prices in the marketplace now.. i.e. the survey tree already equips them well to take advantage of demand as needed.

ok im gonna read the proposal again. i am under the understanding that this proposal will only allow personals to be used by anyone other then master artisan.
