Thread: Vehicle Customization: Should it be for Master Artisans to perform or for anyone and everyone?

I'll take Door #2 Monte!
We have enough problems with service now, and given the life expectancy of customization, we would never have time to craft anymore with all the requests to come and customize my speeder!
I make it, you use it. When it's gone, come buy another off my vendor.

I vote for Door #2.
Door #1 is a time sink for Master Artisans for little benefit. There is more player interaction this way, but I'm busy enough without having to deal with players chasing me to customize their vehicles.

As an MA, #2.
The ONLY way I would support #1 is if color is permanent. I do NOT want to be a painting contractor as someone has said before.

One more vote for "let anyone do it"
Let us MA's make the kits and sell them, you'll see alot more colored vehicles around than if you force people to chase down a MA every single time the color fades, or they want to change it.
Leave it MA only, and the only people you'll see with colored vehicles are MA's, and their closest friends.

I prefer option #2, I want something I can sell, as in an item. I don't want to have to sell an item and the be harassed to sell the use of the tool.

This is the way the Droid Customization Kit works, and as the vehicle one will be a copy, I assume it will work in this way too

Make it so that something is needed for the customization tool that is too rare to be used in a factory. You have done that with the chef and BE professions (milk, mollusks, eggs, fish).
