Thread: Summery of Armorsmith issues with the new CU system

Now we can only mass produce sub par products, while players that really play the game, and expect to be uber leet (see: PVP'ers, hardcore gamers, Hard core PvE'ers, power grinders, and anyone that plays the game more than two hours at a time) will expect armorsmiths to bend over backwards to utilize all this new loot system that has been implemented.

Although many of the new things they are doing to armorsmith are ruining the profession, this isn't IMO. I think before, and even now there are a few armorsmiths that dominateeach server. That is good, if you are that armorsmith, but if you are anyone else, thats bad. There are too many smiths out there forcing people out of the profession. I think if we had a system that favored (not forced) small scale crafting, it would be better for the profession as a whole, and not just the one or two armorsmiths per server that have cornered the market.
I am continually suprised that people expect to mass produce the best armor in the game while not even logged on, while their factories churn away at work. Am I the only one that sees the problem with that? It should be a difference between a mass produced car(chevy or ford), and a Ferrari, which is assembled by hand.
nah you are not alone, I feel like you. And I fail to see where is the fun factory mass producing one or two types of armors permanently, always the same, so on and so on...
Ok You make surely good money, that is the only good point.
Otherwise, the new system can only be more fun everyday than the one now. And yes, also more fair for new AS.

Summery means balmy and warm, as in 'like the summer season.'
Summary means a brief synopsis of a larger comcept.
Jeez. It's been up forever and it's been driving me nuts.

I like this guy.
Modifiers are brought in and we cant experiment on them ..... what have we done to be reduced to a dummy class ?
And we get capital boring new things like more tons of different hides which we can buy at insane prices , start over with the ressources all the work collecting them for nothing now.
Now the pricing for the new armors will skyrock ...... hides even in segments .... u must be nuts is this armor or enhanced leather clothing ?
I have more then enough money but im not giving this to greedy rangers with insane prices for hide because no one will buy these 'armors' because they will become way to expensive .
I have decided to close my shops for a while and they are named 'armorsmith on strike' .
If i want a set for my fighting char ill get the res and build it but ill boycott the market until we get more options in experimentation and most of the hide is taken away from segments and cores .
Combat upgrade shouldnt mean wracking an crafting class . Sorry but im completly pissed off ........ ure experimentation suit is now worth nothing ........ get new ressources ........ buy tons of hide for insane prices but keep ure pricing low because of the reduced mission payout . Not with me ..... if someone wnats armor ..... pickup armorsmith and produce ure own .
its a lot to look at 6 to 8 mouth of mining to make a good armorsmith. if i just started playing to day the new cu would not be to bad, but i have been armorsmithing for 1 year and some have been here from the begining.
1. you give use 2 weeks to move skills. " i work 12 hr days its going to take a mouth to find all the stuff that i need to delete, and 2 weeks to figure out what i need to hunt and how to hunt.
Thank's for the time you put into this thread, Im concerned about everything listed in it. I have been an armor smith since month 3 of the game launch. I loged in this morning and it only took me 20 mins before i loged off so depressed i went back to sleep to avoid thinking about it. I have collected on average 5 mill units of every awsome shift of resources that I needed to make awsome armor for my customers. I dont like all the resource changes. I feel like the Devs havent apresiated all our hard work or our Profession as a whole. Im gonna play my alt for a couple of weeks before I try and sell my 150+ Mill units of resources I have collected over the past 2 years. Im only hanging on in hope the devs come to their sences. I really am dreading turning in my notice to Eclipse that I wont be crafting for them anymore. I have built so many great relationships with people over the years. I like crafting becuase of the people i meet and the 1 on 1 interactions I have with them.
Please Devs, dont kick us down we pay money to play this game,CU has made armor crafting the most unequal crafting profession when compared to all others. I cant see any reason to continue with the current CU changes to my once loved profession Armor Crafting
