Basically, I ganked this idea off the WS forum. Feel free to add the most annoying, aggravating and irritatingly amusing questions you've gotten. Feel free to add in your most sarcastic/witty responses too.
I'll start with the most common one (that's also in my bio):
"Hi, are you an Armorsmith?"
"Last time I checked I was."
"Do you make armor?"
"I'm afraid not. I just wear the Master Armorsmith tag to make people think I'm rich and pick up hot Twi'lek dancers in the cantina."
Ironically, that's how I met my IG wife.
I think its pretty pathetic that a correspondant is basically making fun of someone in game asking very polite questions to you !!!
I'm glad your not on my server. After you answered the guys first question like you say you did I wouldn't have anything to do with you and I'd go find a good armorsmith not some jerk. I think you need to check your head....
I don't know why but for some reason reading what you wrote really made me mad. There are alot of new people in game now and since the game has totally changed even us quote un quote veterans have many questions about how professions are working now a days especially the crafting profs...

Lol! His IG wife must have a better sense of humor than this one! But honestly, while we give a remark like that at first, most of us realize how hard understanding the system is and are always willing to help...as long as they are capable of listening. Don't read too much into this post.

If that bothers you, do NOT read the Chuckle for a Smuggler thread and its 2,000 posts.

I got no problem with people flaming me for what I wrote but before you say things like I got no sense of humor or don't read a smuggler thread that must be similar please keep in mind that I don't have a problem with individual players making fun of people who ask bad questions I've got a problem with a correspondant making fun of players.
The correspondant is a person. Puts up with the exact same crap as we do in game. I personally see nothing wrong with it. Especially as it's something that almost EVERY AS thats beena round a while has run into. I mean the reason i's beign made fun of. Is because of the big letters floating above the corr's head at the time. Saying MASTER ARMORSMITH. Thus indicating that they are an armorsmith. ANd can as such. make armor. I've had the exact same thing happen to me. One in a blue moon. Yeah ok. But some days you get all sorts of people asking you questions with obvious answers right in their face.
Hell one time I was even making armor for a person post cu out of my crafting droid (Now that we have cores I tend to go around with a pack full of misc resources/armor subs and two droids. one with my crafting suit, the other full of crates of armor cores)
And I'm even talking in spacial about it. Wearing hte MAS tag. And like three people asked if I was an armorsmith.

So would it matter to you that when he first used that line, he WASN'T the correspondent? Is he supposed to /tell each of them an apology?
absolutely not but to post a current thread on a public forum is wrong for him to do.

Hmm, I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I think his job as correspondent is actually to represent the armorsmith community to the game developers. The FAQs and whatnot are just icing. Caile runs a very successful armor business on his server so he must be doing something right.

The correspondant is a person who represents the game and the community forum page that he or she is associated with!!!!
Is that correct or not ???
And also let me ask you this when the people in game asked you a quote un quote dumb question.... Did you make fun of them or belittle them in any way even if you were like /sigh ???
Does anyone ever think about hey maybe this person is young and just doesn't know how to talk to other people?
Does anyone ever think hey this person needs some help???
Are there any helpers left in the game?
I've been a master Chef since about a month after original launch I've had numerous people ask me for "cheap" food or ask me for help whether its a good question or a bad one I always answered them and I was always nice to them even if their questions were "dumb" and believe me in two years I've had a lot of dumb questions!
Things in the game frustrate me as well as you all but remember that this is a game and were all just trying to have fun. This whole player hating stuff has gotten old and it never used to be like this!!
So like I said originally I just feel its wrong for a correspondant to make fun of people period no matter what it is about.
How would you feel if you went out and bought this game finally got it loaded up and your all excited to get going in the game... maybe your in the starport and you see a jedi and your like man I want to be that so you send him a tell saying, "hey how do I get Jedi?"
How would you feel if the guy or gal answered you making fun of you or posted a public thread about you or calling you an idiot or dumb. I'll tell you how you would feel. You would feel like crap!!!
Instead you would feel good if the person said hey its a long road but check the forums there are pages about how to get a jedi character.
Think about it all before you start flaming me saying I have no sense of humor... I hate bullies and I'm willing to battle toe to toe with anyone who makes fun of people I don't care who the hell you are!!!
Wow, seems to me like maybe you're the one who is the bully here. You said your peace, now move on back to the Chef forums. Geesh.

Slim when something is wrong and something bothers you you must stand up for what you feel is right! I'm simply responding to what some of the other players said back to me on my original post. Defending myself is not being a bully..

You came to our forum and express your opinion about our correspondent; which is fine, you're entitled to your opinion. But then others disagreed with you, and expressed their opinions about what you said. You seem to be of a mind that the only valid opinions are yours, and that anyone who challenges or criticizes you is a "bully". That's how I see it. You've said your peace...I've said my peace. I'm moving on now, and I suggest you do the same. Online arguments only end up making everyone involved look dumb (I know from personalexperience
).

I'm going to have to agree to agree to Pyke on this one (except for the agreeing to disagree...what the *%#! does that really mean!).
It's a polite way of blowing someone off because you're tired of going in circles.
