I already spend millions on weapons, food, meds, skill tapes,resources ect.. for my pet wookie, now I have one more thing for him to spend money on. Pet wookies cost way to much as is, so I was hoping for the natural AR1, even if it was a bit weaker. However if you are going to do this, then the armor need to have sockets, take the different armor segments and be fair good. I have always been impressed with what the art department has done, so I am sure it will look cool.

If they are to be given the same benefits as armor-wearing species, then they need to lose their extra HAM.


I'm all for giving EVERYONE full armor - as long as the species bonuses are taken away. You can't have it both ways.

The solution isn't in changing the speices bonuses, the solution lies in increasing the ham cost of the specific armors.


Wookies have +1600 ham? Ok then make their armor cost 1600 (more or less) hammore than a human similar one.


Same for Transhodian, make specifics gloves, boots with higher ham cost.


This way the speices keeps their differences. If all speices would have the same stats it would remove diversity from the game and fun. But in full armors all speices should be leveled...


And by the same time please tweak the substats of all races, I still don't understandwhy a human can be stronger than a Wookie and so on for all speices...

Ok I just ahve to set this straight right now wookiee's get +300 HAM's (I don't know where this 1600 number is coming from but I wish it were true ... well not anymore I don't).

Secondly when this armour is developed can you make sure it does not suffer from the pattern bug pls? ie when I wear a shoulder pad as a wookiee my pattern on my chest area changes to some std pattern and it does so for every wookiee I have seen (it happens to more than just the shoulder pad too) its a fustrating more than game braking bug for me but it would be nice if the new stuff didn't have to suffer from it!

First off i am a wookie and i am quite happy about this, as much as i hate to say this i hope they cap the reisitance to like 50-60 percent, otherwise we are gonna have tons newof wookies running around owning everyone, and now everyone who unlocks his fscs is gonna pick a wookie.

It is 300 or roughly 1/10 of a great buff, ie not even worth worrying about. I think many people are just upset because certain players are getting something and they are not. Very childish. Do the math, you'll see it doesn't make a big difference. Wookies are still nerfed on their CH abilities due to all the CH changes and nerfs. This evens them out now.

Keeping judgement reserved to see what actually happens armour wise. It's nice to hope for the best, but don't expect it!


For those folks who took think there is a 1600 HAM differential, think again.


Wookie :


  • Health +350
  • Strength +350
  • Constitution +150
  • Action +200
  • Quickness +100
  • Stamina +100
  • Mind +100
  • Focus +150
  • Willpower +100

  • Human :


  • Health +100
  • Strength +100
  • Constitution +100
  • Action +100
  • Quickness +100
  • Stamina +100
  • Mind +100
  • Focus +100
  • Willpower +100

  • The difference is 700. Not 1600. 1600 is the total bonuses added up. Using humans as a base of reference here, but you get modifiers too, so it's not 1600 - 700 spread out. It's not much and you can take it away if you like, it never helped any of us. There is no way you can say having an extra couple hundred health ever made up for 80% resists. None.


    And for those who are going on about continuity - give me a freaking break. How selfish can you get. Yes, let's keep an entire playable race totally beat down so you can feel Star Warsy? Pft. Look around you. Plenty of stuff doesn't quite fit in, but I guess as long as it's good for you that's alright, eh? Me, me, me.

    Its potentially good news but i would not say this is good now until the details come out. By wookiee specific armor they could be just making something as bad as marauder armor. This needs to be like present composit armor with either less resists or extra encumberance to compensate for our extra ham.


    We can't cheer yet wookiees, we need more info.

    Ok, but still a wookiee with an extra 600 HAM + buffs > me with buffs. Bye bye extra wookiee HAM bonus or hello weaker version of armor specifically for wookiees. I'm sure it will be the latter.

    that is an absolutely rediculous thing to do, period. And as for lightening up, the devs and forum moderators have made me this way.
