Will there also be a fix for wookiee's and craft aprons?

You'll also let trandos wear boots and gloves soon enough won't you? Thanks!

Agreed.

If they are to be given the same benefits as armor-wearing species, then they need to lose their extra HAM.

I'm all for giving EVERYONE full armor - as long as the species bonuses are taken away. You can't have it both ways.

just so you know, wookiee armor is (or will be) cannon as soon as the next film is out and since that takes place before the current game time line. their is no reason it shouldn't be craftable.

Hmmm....I've been following all of the E3 spoiler sites and have not seen any confirmation that there is wookie armor in Episode 3.

Plenty of information that there are wookies in battle, but nothing about wookies wearing armor.

As others have brought up -The Wookie Ham Advantage will going away - correct TH?

Im gonna assume this new Armor will be AP1 - with at least Maurader Like Stats (Probebly better since your going to all this trouble..)

So what exactly will be the disadvnatge to being a wookie if they will now get - Better stats than everyone else - Armor - Bowcaster -Special Abilities like Roar, Etc.

WookieRoar is getting nerfed in 7.
Nobody uses a bowcaster. They suck.
The stats, as has been mentioned hundreds of times, are only and advantage to n00bs and quickly become a non-factor.

Glad you Wooks are getting armor.

Maybe I can go hunting with my friends again without watching them get stomped for lack of resists.

And now maybe the "I am human in composite! I will 0Wn JOO!" idiots will get theirs. Heh.

The solution isn't in changing the speices bonuses, the solution lies in increasing the ham cost of the specific armors.

Wookies have +1600 ham? Ok then make their armor cost 1600 (more or less) hammore than a human similar one.

Same for Transhodian, make specifics gloves, boots with higher ham cost.

This way the speices keeps their differences. If all speices would have the same stats it would remove diversity from the game and fun. But in full armors all speices should be leveled...

And by the same time please tweak the substats of all races, I still don't understandwhy a human can be stronger than a Wookie and so on for all speices...

thunderheart

plz take it to the devs that this armor should be just as effective as human or trandoshan wearable armor.

our few extra points of ham VS say a trandoshan or VS a human with 1100/700/700 mind is not overpowered on the wookiee end.

we want good craftable battle ready armor with head protection.

i am sure lots of people will cry about this saying we are getting and unfair advantage - but we aren't

every wookiee playing who has stuck it out and not rerolled know this to be true.

every dev should know this to be true.

hopefully if you guys are going to put some work into this finally - we all ask you do a good job and make it worth the effort

Dunno WHY everyone is so fixated on that useless alleged HAM bonus for Wooks. Go ahead, take it!I've played a Wook since just after launch, and it's never done me a bit of good. EVERYONE kills me in 2 seconds in PvP.. dizzy/kd first, then light the furball up at will. PvE is only slightly better... first I had to be a CH to survive.. now the Ranger/Rifleman combo works better... if they don't see me, they don't attack me. The "Wookiee Armor ruins the Star Wars feel" people are laughable... like Chewbacca was flat on his back unconscious every time a stormtrooper took 1 shot at him.

The ONLY way to balance out Wookiees WITHOUT armor would be to have given them a HUGE bonus to damage done via melee attacks, in keeping with the "Wookiees rip your arms out of their sockets/tossing stormtroopers around like rag dolls" image from the films. Then you'd have TONS of Wookiee TKMs, shredding people left & right... and then the cry would go up "Nerf the Wookiees"... and we'd be right back to where we are now.

Plus, if this rumor of Wookiee armor in Episode 3 is true (and where did THAT bit of rumor come from?)... then pretty soon, Wooks in armor are gonna be something you'd just have to accept anyway.

I just hope the art dept. does a good job on it...

I deleted my old wookie character because of not being able to wear armour. I play as human now and must admit the game is so much more enjoyable. I'm glad wookie's will now be able to wear armour but I don't think it should be a full set, thus they should keep SOME of their HAM increases.

(I notice mainly Imp's whining)

Good luck to all you wookie's out there. It's been a long time coming. Someone should set up a wookie party when it goes live!
