Oh boy. Here comes the ultimate noob question. I just made it to 3-0-0-0 armorsmith so now I can build Ubese shirts. The problem is I cant find them when I open my crafting tool, I cant find the ubese shirt anywhere. I have tried it with a generic crafting tool and an armor and clothing crafting tool. I have also been standing next to a crafting station. I cant seem to find the problem. Also, will the Ubese shirt be listed under the armor tab or the clothing tab? Clothing is my guess. One more thing. The ubese shirt shows up in my datapad under schematics, so I know I can craft it. I must be overlooking something. Thanks for the help!

Prolly you arent using a personal station in your house (u have to declare residence), public stations have complexity limit or stations from friends of yours.

I am having the same problem as some of the other folks on here. My macro won't change my schematic no matter what number I put in. It wont change from the dang Armorweave segment. How did some of you others figure this out? my armorweave macro is 153 and my AUK is 152. When I started it I put 153 accidentally, forgeting about the stupid 00 slot. Do you think it is stuck in the macro? I don't want to type that all in again! arg...

awesome post btw

An easy way to find you schematic number.

___________________________________________________________________________________

From Candleman:

Create a macro and name it whatever you want. I call mind Sel. You can name it Finder iguess.

/ui action toolbarSlot00
/sel 147

That is it. First line selects the crafting tool you should have in slot00. The second line selects the item 147 in your Data Schmatics(in your datapad). This is the last one i had to do so your number will most likely be different. Each item that you can make is in your data Schmatics tab of your datapad. They all are numbered 0 - XXX. We don't know what that number is. That is why we run this macro. You will need to run the macro. If you arn't close, changethe /sel # and try again, and again, and again. sometimes it takes several tries. Remember that you see more of them when you are near a crafting stations. Remember your number, you will need it in the rest of the macros.

if you just open your datapad, you count from left to right and top to bottom to get your schematic number. It's in the order that you acquired them for the most part.

ok, i've gone by this initial post and have started the marbari grind path, but noticed the macro was for 3 crafting tools.....

Without a macro, i can keep 4 crafting tools making chest pieces one after the other......is my way not faster?

Not saying this is a good method cause it may make you insane with constant clickin and all, but just wanted to make sure i was up to par with the speed of the macro or even better.

Seemed like i got the 1st bar of Armorsmith very fast after starting. No more than a half hour

i made the macro for 4 tools, so i'm doing it that way, i think the time depends on how fast you can click on the resources. If you are like me, and have a ton of different types of metals and hides, it can take a while to find the correct ones to click. Best plan so far i have found is to get the resources and stick all but one stack of everything in my pack. then i don't have to search through 20 items to find the inert petro or the crappy hides to grind with. It also prevents using the 'good' stuff for grinding. Only downside, have to stop macro when you run out of a material.

To the previous poster who couldn't find ubese shirts, they are in the armor section, under the same section as the chestpieces. (i'm pretty sure about this.) and you have to be by an armor/clothing crafting station. Not sure if public ones work, since i have one in every droid i have. /shrug

Public stations don't work for ubese shirts. use the private station.

You know what, i grinded almost the entire tree (only 3 boxes left) without any macro. The trick is to use the keyboard. Here is my 'non-macroed macro' (my 4 crafting station are hotkeyed from F5 to F8):
[F5] [Enter] wait [click on ressources] [Enter] wait [Enter] [Enter]
[F6] [Enter] wait [click on ressources] [Enter] wait [Enter] [Enter]...

get the pattern? If i click fast enough i still have between 9 and 4 seconds left on the next crafting station before i can start again (with mabari). I should make myself a 5th one. So basically you need your left hand on the keyboard pressing the hotkey and enter. The other is on the mouse selecting the ressources. I usually get bored after 2 crates of amorweave segments (that's 40000 XP, roughly 1 skill box per grinding session)...

So that's no need to figure out the schem number, no need to fine tune the pause delays or whatever...

what do the ubese shirts take compared to the mabari pieces and how much XP do they give compared?

7-8 tools is the lucky number. My macro is written for 8 tools, that should be plenty for pretty much any grind (just use the same macro for different grinds, ive had to grind tailor, artisan, and now armorsmith). Yes, the macro is much much faster. And much more tolerable. i tried to not grind my way to armorsmith, but it took waaaay too long. The way to go are mabari chest plates to 3/0/0/0 armorsmith. Then have 150k steel, 100k iron, and 50k fiberplast, and grind to master with ubese shirts.

good luck

happy grinding
