Im already going insane with the fact i have to get 70k hides for mabari plates... (OUCH!!) this is no easy grind, and i thought weaponsmith was hard (Tailor was a piece of cake =P) ow, pain... I'm grinding armorsmith just for being an armorsmith! I need it for my second character who's a swordsman. YAAAY!

also you get more xp depending on where you live to becasue some player citys give you bonus to for practicing and crafting.

Question.
I have been grinding through armorsmith with Mabari chest plates and read somewhere before that you need a crafting station to make these for the grind but i have been making these wherever and whenever i want all through my trevels. Am i suppose to be able to??
If i don't have to be at a station, do i take out the nextC's out of the macro?? and what's the pause at the end of the macro for mabari pieces??

Im using 10 tools grinding ubese shirts its WAAAYYY cheaper than mabari..
I started out as an AS with 2,5 mill creds doing mabari .... got to 3-0-0-3 and i was broke (0 creds) !
Ibought all my resources including hides, all for 3 cpu ..
Since then ive been doing ubese shirts, and guess what.. im now 4-1-2-4 and ive used up about 70k creds..
Alvl 1 box takes about 50 minutes doing ubese instead of 35 or so doing mabari..
so, if youre not insanely rich id suggest getting some harvs and pulling fiberplast/steel/iron and grinding ubese shirts..
well my 2 creds anyway

i was a bit off earlier..

i made some calcs using my macro setup and i average about 1080 xp per minute doing ubese shirts and 10 tools.
a lvl 2 box would take: 37 minutes
-//- 3 box: 47 minutes
-//- 4 box: 57 minutes
this is all barring macro crashes and general hickups...
although it tends to happen more often with high packet loss (15% and above) and ping (200 is ok)...

i dunno what you did, cause i started with less than a million and some saved up creds and im 4-0-0-2 with a bunch of resource left but will probably have to go your route in a few days when the synthetic cloth be gone hehe

Thanks for this post. It made my grind alot faster than I would have thought. I think I broke my mouse though...

i know this is about grinding, but what i started doing was hanging out in anchorhead and giving away the mabarri armor i made. i am now getting xp when i am not there. and i am making the same amount of items each day

i finally found my schematic number for ubese shirts.. But now i dont XP for crafting next to a crafting staion while useing a macro...can some 1 plz tell me what im doing wrong

Yes you do need to click on the resources. The easiest way is to empty your pack of other items that can be used in the process and keep only the ones you DO want to use in hte process. For example, you need metal but you have a stack of steel, copper, and iron. Get rid of two of those and just have the one pile. Makes it simpler to click.

well that sucks. i was really hoping i could just leave the macro on while i was at school and come back and train my newly aquired skill.
since it was after all very hard to get that macro typed in.
