Thread: Armorsmithing Mandalorian Armor *SPOILERS*
The stat shifting has been stable for a while now.
Current vulns are - Acid and Stun. (I think...to lazy to look it up.)
My character would most likely also be a fulltime crafter, if I were to buy a second account. Makes sense to me. But I don't think I'd like that to be my only option in the game...hence my build....
"Knowledge of making it will do no good there bud."
Of course knowledge that it doesn't shift anymore would do ya good *bud*.
Ok, I really don't understand all the armorsmiths out there that are so mad at this. I mean come on... from what I see, all that is happening is that we need a couple other professions to modify a piece of armor that we are required to make. The post says that we are required to man the controls, we are required to enter the room, and all this beautiful stuff. Are you actually so **edit** that you won't allow another profession to be a part of the oh so important process of creating armor.... well, that is just the way I feel, being an armorsmith myself.
Secondly, we really have no idea how this quest is going to develop, so while everyonehas filled up three pages arguing over whether DEs and Tailors should be allowed to be a part of making the finished product, let us wait until we see exactly what is required before we explode so quickly.
If this is an info repeat, I'm sorry... I'm curious, though;
If a crafter cannot experiment on this because of the "terminal interface" they use with this droid, perhaps a slicer can slice the terminal for "experimentation" values... Just a thought!
Dude have you not heard about Boba's helmet? That thing's main function is not protection. In that helmet there is more hardwhere then in NASA itself. He even has a tiny camera so that he can see behind himself. As for the Tailors I think that it is a good idea that they are included in this. I have no clue what the belt will serve as but it is just plain stupid that armorsmiths should craft that. Also the gloves and pants. As said before his pants are more cloth than armor. Just some plates on the cloth. And for the gloves they are more cloth than metal as well.

This has got to be one of the stupidest ideas the Devs have ever had. What place do Droid Engineers &Tailors have in Armorcrafting? I can understand them making the components for the armor, but not the actual armor itself! A Droid engineer making Mandalorian helms? lol, hopefully this is just a mistake. Surely they wouldn't code it that way!
I dunno if this has been brought up before but...
Mando armor may not have uber resists, but because of the lack of defenses that a bounty hunter has I would assume that it would be addressing that issue. Ever since i finished bounty hunter I felt there was some reason why they didn't have them. When I think of a Bounty hunter I think Tracking and Offense. But even offensive moves can be followed by some defensive action. I believe that this is the purpose of Mando armor. And I would also think that bounty hunters could take advantage of these bonuses where as non bh could just don the armor.
Just a thought.
