Explain to me how a couple hundred extra points in Health and Strength makes up for a 50% reduction in armor effectiveness, exactly.

for what do a wookie need an armor?

If you want to hide yourself behind an armor, play a human and be the part of the 80% of players, who run around in composite.

You are grossly overestimating the benefits of the extra Ham wookiees recieve. Half the resistance of armor everyone else is getting? Why even bother.

With a full set off buffs you and I are toe to toe without armor. Give you armor with, say, 70% resistance and me armor with 40% and the advantage is instantly yours again.

Yay! About time SOE gave something to the races/classes without taking something away at the same time that overshadows the addition.

This is potentially wonderful news. Just please tell me the craftable armor is going to actually bring us up to par with other species and not be equivalent to Marauder armor.

Wookiee armor is not going to hurt immersion any more than the current state of 80% of the other species wearing armor at all times does. It just means we won't be your easy kills anymore.

I play a Human on Eclipse and I run around in my Imperial Uniform all the time, no comp armor for me .

I'm getting Padded Armor for aesthetic purposes though!

TH: this is what we've been waiting for months for. Information on what was being done for us and an estimated time frame. Thank you finally. You'll see with continued discussion with a player species instead of just a profession that we'll begin to tame our negative attitudes (which, honestly, has been justified) and the festering frustration will evaporate. Thank you once again and please keep the lines of communication open and flowing both ways. Informing US via these forums and not an outside website interview will do wonders. I guess the Marauder armor I just got will just be a showpiece in my humble abode now (thank God)...

I'm not even a wookiee but must say its about time they got armor, to many times have I seen them lose in pvp or pve just because they couldnt have armor and am very exciting that its finally being placed in, HOPING their armor has the same stats as the other armor.
