Really depends on my mood at the moment, the base price is 10k the single slice, and 50k the full set of armor. If a smith asks for a mass slicing, i just don't acharge anything, i keep one item by crate (or by two crates) so that i can use it, offerit or sell it. Should have seen my friend when i offer her this T21 with the 35% damage slice
there was no price for that

I let people pay what ever they want... if they give me pittance I put thier name in my book of 'People not to slice for'
Works for me since I never advertise slicing anyway, on average I only slice about 1 Item a week for strangers, but much much more for guildmates/friends

OH man and you guys really get that much per slice as a master smuggler? the normal slicing on my Server is about 3k flat. If I slice a full set of Comp - then I charge a minimum of 50k - and for weapons - the average price is 100 cred per %. I usually asks only for tips and they are very generous - receiving about 6-8k per slice. But now I know why I have nomoney - thanks guys

<=== Wearing the TAG Master Smuggler = TELL HELL for days
I going to stopwearing that (even though I have been a MS since the begining of 04) and only slice for repeat to reduce the chances of being put on the BH mission terminals - Cause I'm not sure what's coming down the pike for us smugglers - but every publish brings our plauge of nerfs and I don't see what combat abilities and chances a smuggler could even possibly have against a MBH. If anyone knows anything that's going on with this re-vamp, please inform or school me (as you can tell I'm still learning the forums thing)
Thanks

If I'm busy doing something else its 10k flat fee per item. If I'm bored and have nothing better to do, 5k flat fee per item. For guildmates it's free, and crated weapons or armor for guildmates only is 2k flat fee per item. My slicing is usually done when I am trying to do something else travelling through a starport and I get 5 or 6 /tells which makes me miss my shuttle or be delayed going to do something else. Slicing has really just become an annoyance. I don't make a lot of money from it, and I tend to get the result the user doesn't want anyway. My only decent slices in the last month were a 35% on a LLC and 25% on a scatter pistol. Both weapons were for me, so I'm happy.

What do you charge for a base price?
If you slice someone's badass stuff for like 33% Dmg, and that is what they wanted do you ask for more money?
If the slicing factors are random shouldn't the price be just as random?
Next time I slice someone stuff uber well I'm charging 25-50k, screw it..
I can't beleive ID's got a revamp before us, at least I remember seeming smugglers in the damn movie
How can someone b_tch about a 2k slice when it's 30% dmg and it's what they wanted and it makes their gun worth 50x more
Bah back to slicing cost, sorry, tyvm

I posted this in another thread, but I'll try to explain a little more here.
I charge 10k per slice. It's what I feel my skill is worth at this time. I may increase the price sometime in the future when I have more important things to do, and my time will be worth more to me.
I know slicing is random, but my skill is not. Because of this, I charge a flat rate. Doesn't matter what someone brings to me, it's what I charge.
I would caution you on changing your prices after you slice someone's uber stuff. for the most part, those guys will tip you nicely if you get a good slice. If they don't, then they're not the type that a sudden shift in price is gonna go over well with.

What they'll do is report you. I'm just saying cover your arse man... and always remember that slicing is a matter of trust. The few people that I slice for (I never advertise or spam or openly solicit business) I get because they trust me or their friend trusts me.

People bytch when you ask them to pay 2k for a slice? I'd addignore them and return their weapon unsliced and tell them to run missions.
I usually charage a flatrate of 10k, have since March of this year.
Recently I only slice for friends and some customers that know my profession. I usually let them tip me what they please. But if its a speed slice and they show displeasement, I'll usually tell em to pay me what they like, if it's damage I say minimum price is 10k
