Getting back to the point of this post...nice armor

Just take a look at it objectively. I'm not jealous, I think it's wonderful that you've been able to make something like this. It's obviously taken quite a bit of luck and work to do so...

However, that said, it is a bit much isn't? Should you seriously be able to fight a Kinetic damage dealing MOB and take *no* damage (after the armour hole issue is fixed)? I understand that it's just the one piece, but this is an 'in concept' issue... should we be able to make 100% resist armour?

As an armoursmith, objectively, I don't think so...

Got an 87% chestplate out of the deal as well, the gloves were the one seg left over. Too bad we couldn't have got lucky on both slices. Oh well, theres always a distant next time =p.

Being a non armoursmith, non armour wearing wookiee, I just wandered over to have a look. Congratulations on perfecting the art of your profession!

I wasn't aware the armour deterioated depending on what damage gets through, but what damage it blocks. I would assume the latter. Of course as stated I never wear armour so what do I know?

Seriously though, I would have kept quiet about something like this. I understand you want to share such an achievement but this kind of thing just draws attention to it. The devs admit they don't even play this game so if you just shush about it they won't be none the wiser

That said it IS unbalancing to allow 100% protection.
Yes its rare now but with time it wont be that rare, once the first set is made they will be more and more common and why not. Once you have a full set you are good to solo kryt yourself all day.

But for now congratulation, nice work.

Nothing in PVP can prevent all damage .. Almost all Ranged weapons have Light armor pircing.. Some even Heavy .. =)..

My BP is around 70% to all a T-21 hit me yesterday for 1300 damage .. armor prevented 76 damage =)

Check one of the earlier posts explaining why AP ratings won't even matter.

You didn't get hit on anything that had 70% resists to energy then, that math just doesn't work =p.
