Anything that happens in any novels is sanctioned by lucas, it has to be. To be able to write a starwars novel you have to get the plot and usage of the characters approved by lucas. If you published a star wars novel/comic without approval and used characters owned by lucas you would get sued. This means anything that's eventually printed is accepted as official. Boba Fett died. When crafting his movies he boldly steps on top of any EU books to make the movie that he wants. Boba Fett coming back was a crude attempt to make money. Lucas intended Boba to die. Boba's a bizernitch and is probably still being digested in that Sarlaac Pit. That's what he gets for trying to hit on me in Jabba's Palace.
He's dead... he got killed by a blind guy with a stick... change your Boba Fett underwear and sheets man.

Boba Fett did not die in the Sarlaac pit..Nor did he kill the Sarlaac...he escaped using his Jet pack...
If you read the books you would know who helps back to good health..

Considering the fact that George Lucas makes his movies how he wants despite continuity gaps it might hold with EU books shows you the weight of those books. I'm waiting for the book that says Jango's head was re-attached to his body.....
To me and most of everyone who saw RoTJ, Boba Fett got his ass waxed in the sarlaac pit. He died just like Boba Fett underwear left in bleach too long.
No offense bro, but Boba's a b****, he died in a sarlaac to me

According to the Star Wars: Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels book, Boba did in fact survive the Sarlacc pit. In the entry where it speaks of the Slave II.
"After escaping from the jaws of the Sarlacc on Tatooine, bounty hunter Boba Fett vowed revenge on Han Solo. Solo would pay- and so would the Hutt crime clans, if Solo was delivered to them. As Fett recovered from the encounter, he set into motion a plan. ::insert unrelated talk of the Slave II ship he used for a short while to find Han Solo here:: Fett encountered Solo on the smugglers' moon of Nar Shaddaa, and the Corellian and his companions barely escaped. Slave II jumped into hot pursuit of the fleeing Millenium Falcon (which had been secreted aboard Salla Zen's Starlight Intruder). By cross-checking the Intruder's hyperspace vector, Fett was able to track Solo to the new Imperial capital of Byss. ::yadda yadda yadda about Fett nearly dying AGAIN because he smashed into a planetary shield attempting to catch Han, but he lives, and gets his Slave I back, and continues his hunt for him::"
And this essential guide...thing...is official, so there's your proof.

I just like to say I am glad the books made boba look good cause all I ever saw was the movies and that dolt is about as good as a downed stormtrooper. I'll stick with wanting to be like his dad thank you =P

Why would you want to be like Boba Fett or Jango Fett...they both DIED in the movies. Seems to me as a BH that I am my own hunter and do not pretend to be anyone else.
Admit it though, the 2 coolest characters in star wars are Han Solo and Boba Fett.

He did not die in the sarlac if your ead the books you can find this out. All of the EU books are approved by George Lucas! Jango on the otherhand got his head chopped off Boba did not die in the sarlac END OF DISCUSSION!!!
