Boba Fett died in the Sarlaac. That was Lucas' original intention then some schmuck decided to make some money selling a book about how he lives. Boba died in that pit.
The cool thing about George Lucas is that he allows vital characters to be killed like that. Boba died like a b**** by a blind guy with a stick. Besides.. Boba tried to hit on me in Jabba's palace... hehe

maybe im mistaken, but boba didnt die because of his jetpack, in fact im pretty sure hes still alive in fact ( although its fair to say that the jetpack didnt really help him). However too all thos who say that jango died because of his jetpack, no he didnt, he was beheaded by mace because of his lack of a functioningjetpack
. If jango didnt have a jetpack at all, he would have died long ago, and hecertainly wouldnt have survived any longer against mace toe to toe.

Boba Fett had 1 line. He was hardly a vital character *grin*

OK, if Lucas is so against Fett dying, why is Fett's story accepte4d and documented in both the SWU and future works? Lucas could have said, no go. But he went with it.
And sometimes its what you DON'T say that makes you popular. Boba did not have to speak. His actions spoke for him.
BTW, that "blind guy" was the only reason the Battle of Yavin was won. The only reason Luke survived the Hoth elements. The only reason Fett did not fry Luke. And the only reason Leia lived twice. Not to mention he was a key part in the Battle of Endor.

Boba only lived on in the EU. I'm sure GL accepts it because it adds flavor to SW, plus what are you gonna do when a bunch of fanboys are arguing over if Boba died or not? You let it go both ways is how.
You could say that Jango was cloned and is still alive after getting beheaded by Ma... oh, wait.

In some peoples eyes, Boba died, in others Boba lived. In mine he lived, he's way to cool to be killed by a crappy Sarlaac.

I wouldn't use the Jetpack if I was a BH. Think about it, both Fetts were killed by their Jetpacks.
Ah, but the jet pack saved Boba's life in the end. He used it to kill the Saarlac.
Dam spoiler...
Ok well I know if I had one Id use it. Whats the fun?

friggin silly argument.
Anything that happens in any novels is sanctioned by lucas, it has to be. To be able to write a starwars novel you have to get the plot and usage of the characters approved by lucas. If you published a star wars novel/comic without approval and used characters owned by lucas you would get sued. This means anything that's eventually printed is accepted as official. All the books that portray events after return of the jedi are now official canon whether you choose to call them EU or not, they are officially reconized by lucas as "what happened". This is enforced for the slow among us that continue to refuse to beleive it's fact by the fact that the official star wars site biographies reflect these character developments.
So yes, boba fett is alive, chewbacca is dead.

We all know it was a tusken raider who killed fett because he had 1 ham due to the Sarlaac's disease. I mean please I thought you were all smarter than this.
( Jet packs would be very interesting to play with and i think it should be limited to just BHs as all the other prof get enough cool shat as it is. )

why are you guys so concerned over what lucas thinks about SW the best thing that will ever happen to star wars is that someday he will pass the rights to it on to someone that knows what they are doing. after alllucas is the one that gave us episode 1 and 2 and ewoks.
think about it...
