Hasn't been that many pieces yet to get my two pieces of 40/80/90 stun comp, and it was the chest and a bracer that I have gotten right so far. I do janta-enhanced pieces every now and then and slice so my base is 70% pre-slice. Still going to take quite a few pieces to get a full suit, but I geta few nice 88% pieces too that I can use in battle.
I have almost completed my own NS suit that I'll be able to wear unbuffed. I didn't use any stun layers though so it hurts a bit now that NPC:s switch to stun batons and the like.

That is a great suit arox...I am working on a similar suit and have 3 pieces done. I am using shards that are around -20's to HAMor higher, and at least 5% NS layers in esch piece. My God has my suit been costly. Since im choosing to use such goos NS enhancers it is really keeping my bank account around 50k. I do janta missions all day, spend the money i made, next day do janta missions all day and spend...etc. It is a very crappy cycle to be stuck in. Ill have to post the final stats of my suit to see how mine shapes up against yours when its done
, but one thing i wont do is fight you in our great suit of armor, because of that evil stick you wield lol...nothing can protect against that.

Nirrain: yes you're correct, the condition lost on armor is based on the damage that gets through your armor, not the damage absorbed by it. So 90% lasts 5 times longer than 50% armor, as only 10% dmg is getting through instead of 50%. I don't know the %, sorry.
PSGs work for all damage types they protect against. They don't protect against kinetic damage, which is why many melee attacks are unaffected, but they do protect against stun, and lend AR1 (which halves ap0 stun damage) plus their built-in resists. PSGs are the reason you don't need to push stun resists on your armor.
Shaar: for now, it's a showpiece in my shop. I may use it some day if I get the urge to.
Xanrag: very nice, I wish valcyn had the resources for 67 base 40% stun armor (we peak around 66/39). I really think that to build he best suit possible though, you shouldn't be making 40% stun on anything but the helmet. Using 3 heavy stun layers means your suit will have encumberance around 900, which weakens your mind pool by slowing the regen, or worse: weakens your overall defense by forcing you to use more mind food just to use your attacks. Plus, then you're dismissing the option of increasing the base via nightsister layers, which are HAMless and can cut down on the number of slices needed. Even without the nightsister layers, 4% or 13% stun made with layers experimented for base->HAM rather than special->base will greatly help you lower encumberance. For the reason discussed above, I firmly believe encums are more important than overloading on stun resists where they aren't needed.

Thank you Lurax and Ail!
One more thing, I've heard different oppinions regarding the decay of weapons. Some say an exeptional weapons houldnt be pup'ed or sliced as it will result in much faster decay... I thought it is merely a matter of the damage dealt, so a 33% slice and a 33% powerup will only make it decay about 70% faster, but deal damage 70% faster also hence decayeing equally much per kill and be one of the best things to slice and powerup...

slicing doesn't affect decay rate, powerups do (they increase it 5-10x or so).

Thought I'd post this, as I'm extremely proud of it. 90% base resists 80% elec on all pieces, with 4% stun on everything neck down and 42% stun on the helmet, and only 525-347-551 total encumberance (318 of that mind HAM from the helmet alone lol). Cost me a small fortune and months of nightsister farming to make it, but I've never seen or heard of a better complete suit. Most of the really good shards and layers got burned up with weak slices, and many of these actually came from churning out pieces 3-5%NS/3-5%NS/stun layers and -10/-10/-10 shards and bulk slicing. The helmet used some high end rancor hides and 3 patch-day stun layers.
If you do a search I have pics of my suit on the Intrepid forums.
40 stun helm/90 base to ALL
27 stun chest/90 base to ALL
18 stun legs/88 base to ALL with low HAM
all the rest are 4 stun/80-90 base w/4 sockets for stacking tapes and a few pieces are 0/0/0 HAM
total suit ham is around 1200-1300
I will repost pics soon as i will be selling the set

link me?
(you threw me off a little with the 1200-1300 ham bit, until I realized you mean total HAM...health and action aside, what's the total mind ham?)
