Please. Enough already.
We ARE the butt of the jokes right now, because the community is throwing a 3-year old temper tantrum. The only people who seem to be rallying behind the AS's are those who want the old system, so they can continue to abuse it.
Nope. I definitely want a new system. I want the CU. What I DONT want, is the Armorcrafting to be as simplified as it is, without the 12 point benefit. I'm not even a 12 point smith (of which I'm ashamed, I've been an AS since launch practically), and I understand why the 12 point smiths are upset. Think about all the creations and formulas we used in creating armor. They are all gone. I don't expect us to have our 90% armor any more, and thats fine. I just want something thats fun to make, not one experimentation line. I'm all for a new system, just not the obnoxious way they have planned it out.
but I'm still sittin vote on Okhram.

As opposed to the new system that is like connecting the dots? And you've yet to explain any 'abuses' in the old system.
I explained them a ton in the post where Okram was advocating PMing the devs to death.
For starters, how about the glitch that allowed AS to make composite as good as it was (when it NEVER was meant to be that good).
I could also bring up 12 AS's buying up skill tapes in order to prevent others from buying them and competing?
There are plenty of abuses that were taken advantage of while the devs looked away. And now that they are looking at them and fixing them, people are crying.
And believe me, they were crying long before the oversimplified exp line - that is just the latest in the laundry-list of rallying cries the AS forum has used to try to keep AS as broken as it is.
I am in no way saying the CURB is all that and a slice of pizza, but in order to get change - you have to meet the devs on THEIR terms, not ours. And that means a new rebalance. Therefore, it would be wiser and more prudent to see what can be added to make the NEW system fun, instead of asking the devs to bastardize it so that it is as broke as the old system.

Agreed. Although most threads even mentioning it are being deleted on the spot. Myself and my friends that I play with (not speaking for the Ranger community lest I get slapped again) are in full support of you and wish you and your profession the best.

Well said ashet. We who craft and even those of us combat toons that rely on you to do what we do, stand behind you. We aren't laughing at all. Instead we see the crosshairs laying on us next.
